Miyajima Seaside Hotel ligger bara 5 minuters bilresa från färjehamnen Miyajima som erbjuder gratis transferservice och vacker utsikt över havet. The omotenashi - the spirit of Japanese hospitality - was just incredible. Thank you to absolutely every member of the staff who made our stay so enjoyable. Person who picked us up in a shuttle, people at the front desk, people who served dinner and breakfast. Simply wonderful. The meals were generous and delicious. Hotel itself is nostalgic retro style. View is beautiful. Public baths are clean and relaxing.

Oyado Tsukiusagi erbjuder rum i japansk stil och gratis WiFi, knappt 10 minuters promenad från helgedomen Itsukushima. Vissa rum har havsutsikt, och alla har eget badrum. Great location - 2 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Traditional Japanese feel. The owner is very kind.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. Every aspect has been carefully considered: -The rooms are beautiful, with a stunning view of the floating gate and pagoda -The welcome tea service was lovely and thoughtful -Dinner and breakfast were some of the best meals we had in Japan, with exceptional service -The onsen is stunning. Multiple large baths, including an outdoor bath with a slight cool breeze and view / sound of the river beside it. -The tatami mats set up and cleaned up in the evening / morning -The shuttle was available at our disposal.

Yamaichi Bekkan ligger bara 1 minuts promenad från Miyajimas färjeterminal och erbjuder boende med gratis Wi-Fi och platt-TV. Yukata-badrockar ingår. Shinko san’s hospitality was exceptional. From the moment we entered Shinko warmly welcomed us and quickly settled us into our rooms. We were amazed by the sumptuous meal that catered to all diets. A tip for future travellers- do not snack before your dinner. The servings and variety were incredibly generous and delicious. The rooms were extremely comfortable and the views across the water were beautiful. Miyajima is beautiful to visit and staying overnight was extra special. Definitely our favourite experience in Japan.

Ryoso Kawaguchi ligger på Miyajima och erbjuder vacker utsikt över helgedomen Itsukushima på 5 våningar. Här erbjuds boende i japansk stil med gratis Wi-Fi. As I was by myself in a 10 tatami room it was absolutely amazing. The nicely separated private toilet and wash basin is also very beneficial. The bath, although shared within the ryokan, can be requested for time to yourself, which again for one person is absolutely massive. I had requested for dinner late on the check in day, and was accomondated for very helpingly. The food is a fantastic ~7 course Japanese feast for dinner, and 5-8 dishes for breakfast (depending on who you ask for what one dish is). The staff are extremely helpful with good English, and was more than accomondating with mw trying out my garbage Japanese skills. solid 10/10 would stay again next time I'm here.

The public bath was refreshing and the staff was very helpful. At check-in they gave us tickets for a sample momijimanju, a sort of waffle-like sweet with various fillings.

Miyajima Hanare no Yado IBUKU ligger i Miyajima, 28 km från Hiroshimas fredsminnespark, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge, gratis privat parkering och en restaurang. I liked the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The staff could not do enough to help.

Itsukushimahigashimonzen Kikugawa ligger i Miyajima, inom 2,3 km från Tsutsumigaura strand och 6 minuters promenad från Toyokuni Shrine Five-Story Pagoda, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge. Great place to stay! They serve a traditional Japanese breakfast. They also do dinner but advance reservation is required. I don’t recall seeing that as an option when booking so I assume you call ahead if you are wanting dinner. Dining options are limited in the evening on the island.
