We had a lovely stay at the Castropol Hotel. The location was safe, central and handy for everything, the quality price of our deal was excellent, including the good and fresh breakfast. We used the restaurant in the hotel every day, after excursions and sightseeing, and we found a rich choice of good food, including the menu del dia which was a bargain, particularly the rich selection and quality fish. We felt at home and found all of the staff helpful, professional, very kind and welcoming, from the reception to the room cleaners and the restaurant staff. Despite the unusual heat, thank you for helping us have a very nice week in Mexico City.

As one of the biggest cities in the world, Mexico City could be better described as an experience than a city. Founded in 1325 by the Aztecs as Tenochtitlan, it was both destroyed and rebuilt by the Spanish in the 16th century. Nowadays, it is the capital of the United Mexican States and its most important economic and cultural center.
The city center’s cornerstone is the famous Plaza de la Constitución, commonly called Zócalo. It's surrounded by the presidential Palacio Nacional and the Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral.
The Avenida de la Reforma was built under the brief rule of Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian of Austria, while the deposed president Porfirio Díaz left a characteristic fusion of French-Mexican architecture. The 1960s saw a demographic explosion that only now is starting to be completely absorbed.
From the Chapultepec Parks and the chic Polanco, to the gay area of Zona Rosa and the Bohemian and intellectual Coyoacán: let Mexico City tell you its thousand secrets and stories.
Most of the hotels are located around the Reforma area, the Insurgentes Avenue and the Zócalo. If you’re looking for 5-star hotels in Mexico City, the modern Santa Fe area has a recently redeveloped business sector.

During my stay I choose Calle Culiacan because many tourists live or visit the area, but also because many places to explore are not far, always use taxies that the hotel call or the ones that are controlled by the agency, ask before you take the taxy how much they will cost you do not allow them to rob you, if you like the service of one ask for their contact info. the regular price for 30 min distance regular price is $380 pesos mx or $24 dollar and for the Chapultepec Park to Culiacan Street they should not charge you more than $150 pesos, I ate at the Mendl Delicatessen, the sandwiches were tasty, breakfast at Maque cute and old fashioned they charge me $46 dollars one person, I love tacos and Tacoarte was so good, you pay one drink second free , tacos al pastor my favorite. I visit the Anthropology Museum of Mexico, and the Castillo of Chapultepec, they were amazing and unique only cost you $95 pesos mx each.

Mexico City has come a long way from 10 years ago I was here, the city feels a lot more secure now. I would definitely recommend visiting this city. Sooo much to do and see! Not to mention the huge gastronomy variety.

I was pleasantly impressed with Mexico City.
I was pleasantly impressed with Mexico City. Its people are very kind and respectful, and very proud of their roots, they know their history very well, and feel proud ot it. Despite the large number of inhabitants, it is a very clean city, and very well preserved. Their food is fascinating, I loved the tacos al Pastor from El Tizoncito, and the churros with chocolate.

From the moment I arrived, Mexico City captured my heart with its vibrant culture and warm hospitality. I had the pleasure of visiting iconic locations such as the majestic Castle of Chapultepec and its serene park, and I navigated the city with ease using the efficient metro and Metro bus services. A highlight was the enchanting boat ride through the canals of Xochimilco and a visit to the spiritual Basilica, each offering unique insights into the city's rich heritage. To top it all off, attending a Madonna concert was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that added an extra sparkle to my visit.
The city's blend of history, culture, and modern attractions makes it a top destination for any traveler. I am already looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend this mesmerizing city to anyone considering a visit. Mexico City, you have left an indelible mark on my heart!

I love visiting Mexico City.
I love visiting Mexico City. I have taken two vacation trips there in the last year. It is comfortable for a visitor with minimal Spanish language (but still, you should try, at least a little!). So many interesting and unique aspects. World class museums, fabulous murals, amazing archaeological sites, intriguing markets, memorable restaurants & street food, Lucha Libre, Ballet Folklorico, and much more. Go to Tours by Locals and arrange some outstanding guided tours (I have done 7 of them in Mexico City).
The staff at this hotel are really lovely and helpful. I have dietary requirements and the women making breakfast would make something specially for me every day. From the reception staff, to the guard on the door, to the room cleaners everyone was genuinely welcoming, lovely and helpful. Location is amazing as it is very close to the main areas of restaurants and bars in Polanco but is on a relatively quiet street. It is quite a charming little place, we would often take our breakfast up onto the terrace of a morning and it was so peaceful.
I have stayed at Hotel Casa Gonzalez several times over the course of 25 years and the place never disappoints me. The hotel is located in the heart of the rejuvenated and modernized Zona Rosa and is truly an oasis amid the energy and bustle of Mexico City. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the food at the restaurant is excellent. If you want an authentic Mexican lodging experience in a safe and secure environment, I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Casa Gonzalez, one of my favorite hotels in the world.
Nice location in the Las Condesa area of Mexico City. 30 min taxi ride from the airport depending on traffic. There are plenty of restaurants within 5 min walking distance of the hotel. There is a Starbucks at the entrance to the hotel. Main city attractions are within 15 min with uber. The hotel has a nice contemporary look. No grand lobby, very simple. The rooms are designed in a contemporary fashion, Elegant and conformable furniture in the room. Bathroom is spacious with a contemporary look.
There is much to like about this boutique hotel. It’s a great location on the third floor of a cool shopping center next to the oldest park in the city. Easy and enjoyable walk to all that the centro histórico has to offer, and also easy access to La Reforma avenue. The staff is super attentive and friendly. Breakfasts is tasty and it was nice to meet other travelers over the table. Beds are comfortable. Nice views from the patio are and from some of the rooms.
My booking was never fulfilled by the Hilton. After 15-17 hours of flying, arriving at Mexico City Airport at 1am, I was told no rooms were available even though I booked it a week earlier. I was given no alternative and all the hotels close by were booked so I was forced to sleep on the floor at the airport. No airbnbs we’re even available to book at that hour. Worst hotel experience of my life.
Very stylish hotel in the Condesa area of Mexico City. Our rooms were very spacious, clean and luxurious and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were welcomed by Diego with a shot of Mexcal and both Diego and Ester were very helpful during our stay. The hotel was in easy walking distance of many cafes and restaurants and we felt very safe walking around the area even at night
Excellent boutique style hotel; typical Polanco architecture; nice patios; great atmosphere. Just off one of the most prestigious shopping streets in Mexico City; walking distance to Chapultapec and National Anthropology Museum; lots of bars and restaurants around; a vegan diner right beside the hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff; easy WhatsApp communication.
This is a delightful little hotel in the heart of Condesa. From the warm welcome from everyone at reception, to the fantastic roof garden setting for breakfast, and clean and tastefully decorated rooms. It was great to be able to open the windows to get some fresh air and listen to the birds. I would not hesitate to stay there again on my next trip to Mexico City :)
Great modern hotel, good breakfast, easy Uber to airport ($109. peso and 15 minutes). or metro station near by .Perfect location , 2 block walk to Garabaldi Plaza with many bars, lots of food options,, oxxo, and Mariachis. Large quiet, clean room with very comfortable beds, and best blackout curtains ever. 24 hour check in and security, great staff
Staff is very welcoming from front desk to restaurant and housekeeping. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with access to 2 barber shops, a 24 hour pharmacy, 4 taquerìas, and a huge mercado right across the street with a laundry service steps outside the main entrance. Also, the daily rate is one of the best I found near La Condesa.
Fantastic boutique hotel with great service and roofdeck. Loved their continental breakfast, which was included. It's a beautifully designed art-deco buildling located a few feet away from Amsterdam Avenue in Condesa. They also had great recommendations in the room for restaurants and sites to see for those interested in design and culture.
Hotel Itto is located in the beautiful Condesa neighborhood - just a few minutes from wonderful restaurants, cute cafes, and parks, especially Chapultepec where a visit is a must. It's right off the highway so easy to get to from the airport in about 30 mins via taxi, depending on the traffic, of course. The courtyard of the hotel is cute.
It’s the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. They do a lot to create a guest community. If I come back to Mexico City, I will choose this hostel over any hotel. You have your privacy thanks to the bed that you can close, the area is safe. The best part is the style of the hotel, it’s very beautifully decorated
The hotel doesn’t look like much from the street or the lobby, but the room was large and comfortable. The location just four short blocks from the center of Mexico City is its best selling point. This is a no frills, very inexpensive hotel with a very convenient location.
This apartment-hotel has a front desk and you can storage your luggage here. The hotel is located in Mexico City business neighborhood. Safe area. There is a night market/bar street just a block away. Best value for the money we paid for the entire apartment.
Customer Service was excellent ; the staff very helpful. I requested assistance with Taxi Services; the staff ensured that the taxi was at the hotel right on time. Very cordial staff. I would definitely recommend Alteza Polanco Hotel to all my friends.
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Awesome staff, centrally located in the heart of Mexico City. Close to shops, bars, and tourists attractions. Thank you. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said, "l'll be back"
Very nice hotel well located in terminal 1 of Mexico City airport. In this hotel you can have a nice rest before continuing your trip. They offer free transportation to terminal 2.
The hotel is super cool and nice, and clean. The installations are new and well located around Polanco. The place has their own parking place which is super convenient
The best hotel for the price anywhere close to the airport. They’re always waiting for guest to arrive, it’s always clean, and the location is unbeatable.
