Upmarket resorts, river safaries are all with a 10 min ride. You must stay at this property. Super friendly and very accommodating host. It was an honor to stay at the host’s family home. It was peaceful. WiFi worked good. We were served coconuts from the garden before our departure.

The owner was so kind to wait so late for my arrival, and she kept bread 1 loaf and all other essentials. She came the next morning and helped with the checkout. The verandah is also the inside, so comfy, just like being at home. It's a bit far from Colombo, but it's worth the trouble. Recommend to try this place if in Colombo. A very pleasant natured lady and full of kindness.

The house is spacious with all comforts one would need. The garden, sit-out areas, the pool and the lake are real highlights. Top this up with delicious meals from the celebrity chef Chandana. Amazing property, seconds from a lovely clean, safe beach. Huge rooms to relax in and the staff were really attentive to our needs. Pool was clean and the perfect temperature and the grounds were lush and green. We had a great stay!
