Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Pearl's Homestay Matale is a recently renovated holiday home situated in Matale, 27 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. This felt like staying with Grandma and Grandpa. We felt very welcome and at home throughout our stay, hosts are very friendly and happy to help in anyway they can. We extended our stay so that we could do a tour around the hosts local village which was beautiful and so worthwhile. We also were able to cook dinner in their kitchen which was lovely and a nice change as we have both been traveling for a while. Highly recommend staying at Pearl’s Homestay.

The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary tools and appliances, including pots, pans, a gas cooker, fridge, and washing machine. The rooms were also nicely arranged and had everything we needed. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. Overall, it was the best stay we've ever had.

The super friendly and very communicative owner gave good tips for hiking and showed us a nice waterfall nearby. Our highlight was that he organized a night-out in the village, showing us around the rice fields and the temple and serving us amazing local food in the village in the traditional way. If you are looking for a great local experience in the nature you came to the right place!
