Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Pearl's Homestay Matale is a recently renovated holiday home situated in Matale, 27 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. Breakfast was amazing. Pearl and Ranjan were excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble. They organised a tuk driver for me and Ranjan even came to the train station on my departure. The room was perfect and the bed very comfortable. I would happily recommend this homestay - a perfect retreat.

The owners are incredibly hospitable and nice! Delicious breakfasts! They helped us even with the smallest thing! I highly, highly recommend it

Set in Matale and only 44 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall, Heavens Acres Lodge offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The lodge had a beautiful and peaceful garden filled with trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary tools and appliances, including pots, pans, a gas cooker, fridge, and washing machine. The rooms were also nicely arranged and had everything we needed. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. Overall, it was the best stay we've ever had.

Offering a garden and garden view, Holly Flowers Villa is set in Sigiriya, 4.4 km from Sigiriya Rock and 7.5 km from Pidurangala Rock. I did like the place where the property was and the dinner what we ate here was the best in our stay in Sri Lanka. I would like to come back here anytime.

Featuring a garden, shared lounge and views of river, Riverston Nature Villa is situated in Rattota, 41 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. From the moment we arrived at RNV the owner and staff made us feel at home and really went above and beyond. They took us on a tour of the village showing us the best swimming holes. In the evenings we loved being able to sit next to the river with a fire sharing stories. After months in the tourist areas of the south it was nice to slow down and meet local Sri Lankans living their lives. We will definitely come back!

Located in Dambulla, 15 km from Sigiriya, hotel hideaway garage offers free WiFi. A balcony with garden views is offered in all units. We really enjoyed our stay! The property is very good value for money, the owner is very friendly and kind, he took us to Pidurangala Rock and Polonnaruwa and charged very economical prices. We also ate dinner and breakfast, both traditional and very delicious. The hotel is nice, hippy style, we had a nice sleep, the amenities all work, is no luxury but is all clean. We felt very welcomed and would definetly go back if we were to stay again in Dambulla.

With garden views, Vihanga Village is situated in Dambulla and has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. It is located 22 km from Sigiriya Rock and provides a business centre. If you are looking for an off the grid place to stay and discover the Dambulla area, I highly recommend the Vihanga Village. A family run place where they even provide the best breakfast ever. The Sambol is to die for with bread. The owner was such a good human that would check on us each morning and provided whatever we asked for. One of our group member had to go to the hospital late night, the owner while being sick himself, drove us to the hospital. I would go back to @vihangavillage each time I am back in the area. A beautiful cabin nestled in the woods. A true natural gem!

Located near Wildlife Range Office - Sigiriya and Sigiriya Museum, Sigiri Dilu Villa is in Sigiriya and provides free private parking and a restaurant. Stay in Sigiri Dilu Villa was very pleasent. The owner was so helpful. He took us by tuk tuk to the rock before sunrise and also dropped us to our bus station. Apartment was comfortable, garden is great. It is good to rent a scooter as house is located in surroundings of Sigiriya.
