Featuring a private beach area, Three Gables Boutique Villa is located in Mirissa, 4.3 km from Whale Watching Mirissa. We spent a week at Three Gables and it’s easily one of the nicest stays we’ve ever had. With only four boutique rooms, from the moment you arrive it feels like you’re at your own home — exactly what the team invited us to do upon our arrival. Every member of the Three Gables team paid meticulous attention to all facets of our stay, including the very smallest of details, to make our time there truly special. Beyond organizing transport and arranging massages, Dinuka, the food and beverage manager, organized a private Sri Lankan cooking demonstration and feast for us. Speaking of the food, it was phenomenal! Each day, breakfast came with a choice of fresh tropical juices, selection of local teas, and a Sri Lankan fruit plate. Beyond that, the choice was between an English-style breakfast (best-in-class eggs, waffles, and oatmeal) and a Sri Lankan curry breakfast consisting of four or five dishes. Whichever you choose, you won’t be disappointed! If you’re thinking to book a Sri Lanka stay beside the sea, do yourself a favour and book Three Gables. For us, it scores a perfect 10!

Villa Océane is set in Mirissa and features a pool with a view and sea views. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The location was unbeatable. The staff and their level of service were first class.

Featuring a balcony with garden views, an infinity pool and an open-air bath, Saltasia Boutique Beach Villa can be found in Mirissa, close to Thalaramba Beach and less than 1 km from Mirissa Beach. Absolutely everything. This was the most st wonderful place; quite magical. The gardens have beautiful trees to keep you shaded if you’re on a lounger and the veranda is all a pretty special place to eat the best breakfast in the whole of Sri Lanka or just chill on a planter seat. The rooms are spacious and cool and the bed fit for a princess (or prince). I could go on and on but most importantly, the staff; they are the friendliest people you’ll meet and super efficient. The very best.

A recently renovated property, Breeze Blows- Solitude Holiday Home is set in Matara near Matara Beach, Polhena Beach and Madiha Beach. Very comfortable. Good mosquito nets! The property has an excellent bathroom, lovely bed, laundry facilities, kitchen, fridge and freezer, good WiFi, powerful fans. 100% happy ! The hostess was charming, and her local knowledge very helpful. We had THE BEST time here.

A few steps from Dickwella Beach, Kaas Villas is a recently renovated property situated in Dickwella and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The villa has 3 floors, one with a livingroom, kitchen, toilet and entry. The private garden has a pool which was really nice! We think it was much nicer than the pictures show. Comfortable bed in a room on the 2nd floor with excellent AC. It even has a large roof top area. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. They served great breakfast every morning inside the villa that was enjoyed in privacy. The villa is just acoss the small road from the beach, really close. There are no other places that we are aware of with closer proximity to the beach. There are quite a lot of small beach bars at this side of the beach which provide nice sun beds with or without coverage from the sun. Just a 5 min walk from Kaas is the main street with food stores. Hiriketiya beach is a 15 min walk over a hill. You can fint good surfing here. Bars and restaurant mainly close at midnight. Not a lot that is happening after this hour.

Set just 200 metres from Thalaramba Beach, Shanika Guest & Villa features accommodation in Mirissa with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Everything was new and very clean. The bed is big and comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful beach close by.

Featuring garden views, Ru Retreat Weligama offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 800 metres from Weligama Beach. My partner and I spent a month here and we were really sad when leaving. The hosts were super responsive and helped us with whatever we needed. The internet was nice and we could work from there. I totally recommend this place. If we come back to Sri Lanka we have no doubt on where to stay Thank you so much!

Located within 700 metres of Weligambay Beach and 34 km of Galle International Cricket Stadium in Mirissa, Family Villa Mirissa provides accommodation with seating area. We spent a few days with family and it was really great. Clean room, nice yard and kitchen where you can prepare food. The breakfast was delicious, we recommend this place and these people. In the future we are back :)

Pahasara Villa, a property with a garden, is set in Mirissa, 1.1 km from Kamburugamuwa Beach, 1.6 km from Mirissa Beach, as well as 36 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole. Great Villa. We loved our stay here. Nice and quiet. Very nice family. Nice garden and place to hang out outside. Comfortable beds. Highly recommend.
