Kyriad Carcassonne - Aéroport is located in Carcassonne within a 10-minute drive from the city centre and the medieval city. The staff went the extra mile for us......we were driving through southern France in a bright red FIAT 500 rental car in early December and this little hotel worked great for us. The hotel was almost empty because it was out of season but we got a nice room at a very inexpensive price. Then, the staff got up in the morning and made a lovely breakfast just for us.

Premiere Classe Carcassonne is located in La Bouriette, near the Deux-Mers motorway A61 and 3 minutes from the airport. Free WiFi is provided. All air-conditioned rooms have a work area and a TV. The best thing about the property was the person on the reception desk when we arrived. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he couldn’t have been more helpful… answering all our queries with a smile.

The ibis budget Carcassonne Aéroport is located just 1 km from the Carcassonne en Pays Cathare Airport and 5 km from the medieval city centre. It offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi access. the staff were very friendly and welcoming, we had our dog with us and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was good, and it’s not far from the motorway for onward travel. I would definitely recommend this hotel if your on route and want a bed for the night.

Domaine du Prieuré Couvent & Presbytère offers villa accommodation located in Grèzes, a 10-minute drive from Carcassone. One villa is a former convent and the other is a former presbytery. Our hosts were extremely kind and helpful. Their advice and tips regarding Carcassonne were spot on! Our locally produced welcome wine was really tasty. The kitchen is fully equipped including basic spices and olive oil. The Domaine Du Prieure is nicely and creatively renovated. We enjoyed our stay!
