It was laid back, the food was excellent, the bar was very friendly with a good selection, it has a lovely pool area and gardens, it’s not the Hilton, but a lovely way to unwind and relax at the start or end of your holiday, it’s everything a stopover should be and a bit more, it’s very quiet snd peaceful. If you are travelling with your pet, they couldn’t be more helpful, Harry our bulldog loved it there

The cleaning lady who spoke also perfect English was extremely friendly and helpful. The price is also acceptable. Will do again!

Located just 5 km from the centre of Châteauroux, B&B HOTEL Châteauroux A20 L'Occitane offers a 24-hour reception. Châteauroux-Centre Airport is ideally located a 5-minute drive away. My usual review is that staff are friendly and helpful, location is excellent, good restaurants/cheaper petrol in the surroundings . This time I want to give 20 out of 10 for care above and beyond. I had an accident when arriving at the hotel, before even checking in. Aurore called an ambulance and cared for me until they arrived, as well as checking me in and getting my belongings from my car for me. Gabriela kindly took charge of my (large) dog, walked and fed her and left her safely sleeping in my room until I returned from the hospital some hours later. I couldn't have been better cared for, thank you.

Fasthotel Chateauroux is located just outside Chateauroux, on the main road heading to Bourges and 5 minutes from the A20 motorway. The staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂
