The lobby of the hotel has a lovely design. And it makes you feel very cozy. A very big thank you to the lady from the staff who was happy to help me with my parking issues 10 stars. Set in a former medical officer’s villa, this central Umeå hotel is 100 metres from the Ume River. Sauna, relaxation area and WiFi access are free, as is a light evening buffet. Staff were wonderful. Everything was explained well on check-in when they found i had an early flight they offered a breakfast take away bag which was there in the morning. Coffee available all day and a meal included for dinner, meant I did not have to go out.
