The apartment was absolutely charming, beautifully decorated and on a corner so the two big windows opened onto two streets. Only one flight of stairs to negotiate. The kitchen was very well appointed, there was a seating area and a small table and chairs for meals. The bedroom was lovely with tasteful decor and plenty of storage. There was a washing machine - also clothes drying rack, ironing board , iron etc - excellent for the long term traveller. The location was fabulous, just inside the old pedestrian part of the city but only a short walk to where we parked our car. The day before we arrived we received detailed easy instructions for entry and during our stay Gwen was in contact although we did not meet her. It was the nicest and best appointed apartment we stayed in for three months of travel and very reasonably priced.

The host contacted us , indicated that the flat would be ready for check in earlier than expected. A lock code was sent via sms so no problem collecting the keys. Easy walk to the old part of Arles across the bridge . Parking is available in the streets near the apartment. The unit is spotless has all the amenities listed . There were even dishwasher cubes and washing machine sachets . As we were travelling for a while we made a very good use of the washing machine.

The owner picked us up from the train station, a truly kind gesture. A great cafe/bakery called Peach nearby. The grand Saturday market is outstanding.
