Booked the 4 bed room and was lovely and spacious---it does have a large french door overlooking the patio The 2 ladies running the place were fabulous and friendly. Breakfasts were spectacular with individually cooked eggs and bacon. Very clean place, short walk from the seafront and promenade, Straight walk from Train/bus station along seafront

The hotel staff was amazingly nice. The room we had was excellent. the breakfast was the best of all hotels we stayed at by far. The only place that serves butter and not margarine. The cheeses and the pastries were high quality.

Everything! So much attention to detail made to make you feel welcome and relaxed. Marco and Ruben are very friendly, showed us around and coordinated surf lessons and beach horse back riding as well as just taking the time to have a chat with us during our stay. I hated to leave.

We were alone in the house, which has six different rooms, most with private bathrooms. The bathrooms are outside the rooms, with separate keys. The house is very new, with lots of natural wood and lots of light. A shared area includes a kitchen and a courtyard, as well as a large dining table. We did not get to use much of the shared spaces, as we were out most of the time. Very close to the beach and to a couple of nice local restaurants. Our stay there was during very rainy and windy weather, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. We had not set up a meeting time with the owner, and we did not have a working phone when we got there. The owner of the nearby corner store was kind enough to let us call the owner -- who arrived shortly and let us in.

The apartament was very clean, near to the beach. the owner was very friendly and helpful. if I come to Figueira da Foz again, for sure come back to VillaMar

It's located on the peaceful hilltop above the town, surrounded by other quintas and gardens, facing the ocean. Every single corner of this place is made and done with the utmost care and delicate taste of the owners. Simple, clear-out, stylish design, refined details, rich and tasty breakfast, superb hospitality. What else would you need? Gervin is the best host you can imagine, and he runs this amazing place with so much ease, natural openness, helpfulness, and (must say) love.

In the whole Suites were puzzles on the wall. it was such a lovely place to stay. The breakfast was good,too. But the best was definitely the friendly and helpful owner. I never experienced so much kindness. He helped me to send a package home. Therefore he organised everything. You can even buy your own puzzle there by the way.

A beautifully designed, comfortable and welcoming penthouse with lovely views and deck we enjoyed a lot. The location is perfect, the support and communication all perfect. We could have stayed forever. Highly recommended!
