Original Victorian period features adorn the property, which also offers a cosy lounge. Breakfast was superb, there were many options available to choose from and we got to try different meals in our 3 days there. Bread was served hot, coffee and tea was good, service was prompt and friendly. There are even different types of cereal to start off our meal.

When we came, it was a very rainy day, so that was a perfect way of relaxing after a long drive to the Lake District. Breakfast was great, fresh and good quality.

The units in the guest house are equipped with a hair dryer and a CD player. Michael and Ann where the perfect hosts . Nothing was too much trouble and would meet your every need. Anne even had a birthday cake for my wife's birthday! Michael even let me try his favourite gin at breakfast! A lovely quiet calm to the house as a whole with a large bright dining room used for breakfast with wonderful view.
