Just 5 minutes' drive from the Channel Tunnel, The Ship Inn - Sandgate offers free parking, free Wi-Fi and a traditional pub restaurant. Situated in Sandgate, the inn is a mile from Folkestone...

The room was very nice, spacious and very clean. It was facing the sea, only 10 metres from the beach. The bathroom was great and very clean. Parking was right in front of the door. The landlord, Stuart, is a great guy, very friendly and helpful. He gave us tips for dinner and draw us a very useful map how to get to the Channel Tunnel. The breakfast he prepared for us was the best we had in over a week in England. We really enjoyed our stay and can recommend this place to anybody. If we come back to Folkstone we will definitely stay there again! Many thanks Stuart!
