The manager is very friendly, and the location is just too peaceful, near two metro stations. The room was bigger than in others hotels, and so comfy, I really will come back for sure!

Location is very good and the neighborhood is amazing. It is easy to arrive via subway (around 10min walk). I liked the possibility to leaveth bags locked in the reception while we were waiting for the checking time. Bedroom has a small kitchen and washing machine. Very complete.

Absolutely loved the character and charm of the hotel, the facilities, the lounge area for breakfast/evening drinks, ease of use of the washer/dryer that was there. The hotel was in a quiet residential section of Kyoto, yet access to Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace and downtown Kyoto was very easy and within a 15 minute walk. Access to the train stations and Uber/Taxi's were equally easy. Amazing local restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel - highly recommend Daigan around the corner for an amazing sushi with an engaging/entertaining/welcoming chef.

The facilities of the accommodation is very good, especially the washing machine, dryer and kitchen, which make it easier for groups or families to stay for couple of days. This is not a typical hotel, though. More like a self-serviced guesthouse located in one of central Kyoto neighborhood. So the service and availability of staff is not at par with normal hotels. Regardless, for people traveling in group or family, I think this property gives more flexibility.
