We stayed in one of the units on the top floor that had views both out the front and the back of the property, overlooking the lake to the plantation house. It made for a very spectacular stay, where we could sit on rocking chairs on the veranda, light the citronella candles provided and enjoy the tranquility (until the frogs started their chorus in the evening !!!!). Excellent size of rooms, very clean, and good breakfast in the morning. Snacks and water available anytime in the morning and fridge, freezer and bags of ice readily available. A very pleasant stay, which included a guided tour of the plantation house. Although rebuilt since a fire in the 1960’s it is still spectacular and the tour was incredibly interesting.

The house was very clean and the price can’t be beat. The code locks on the doors were a great addition. The beautiful kitchen and we discovered a coffee pot.

Breakfast was a lovely way to get to meet other guests all sitting around same table which was a lovely touch . Rose made you feel like part of the family and peter was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. Good choices at breakfast , may not be your typical pancakes or fry up but there's something for everyone and you won't go hungry as snacks and cakes on display all day
