Wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful peace and nature of the region. The property is very remote so ideal to fully relax. Birds, butterflies and wonderful plants full of flowers enchant your stay. The views are breathtaking. The very kind owners help you to arrive to the place by jeep if needed. You need to climb some stairs to get to the breakfast area and the place itself. Not an issue for me but people with reduced mobility should be aware. Delicious breakfast.

This cabana in Taganga is really amazing. We had 6 nights here and enjoyed all of them. Taganga itself can be a bit hectic, therefore staying at Bareke Azul on the hillside was just wonderful - only 5 min from centre of Taganga but far enough to get some peace, quiet and wonderful views. Also, one of the owners Ramon is just a really great and friendly host. All in all, we had an amazing stay at Bareke Azul. It’s not a luxury hotel, but considering the price, it’s perfect.

The owners were so lovely and helped us with everything we needed plus they gave us some great recommendations for the surrounding areas!! Its hard to explain how peaceful and beautiful this little spot is. Lots of wildlife sounds at night and very tranquil feeling. Kind and helpful hosts. Gati and Julio were great and the dogs were adorable and sweet. Super close to the park entrance and they provide breakfast so you can get up and get hiking quickly. The spring fed pool is great to cool off in when you get back from hiking. If you get up early and take a walk to the park there's a decent chance you'll see monkeys on the trail.
