The public areas, the wellness and the rooms were really clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was always available, but they weren’t disturbing. The staff of the restaurant was very friendly, especially Richard. Richard’s wine recommendation was really good. We had a wide variety of vegetables and we enjoyed the main courses and desserts as well.
Hotel Bruno enjoys a quiet, idyllic location at the edge of the forest, only 250 metres away from the Spieljochbahn cable car and the ski bus stop to Hochfügen.

Quiet in the old village but just enough restaurants, bars and cafes to keep us entertained.
No apres ski to speak of.
Bus system is quite good but not all that frequent, and beware, they sometimes leave early from the smaller stops.

Fügen is a nice village in the Zillertal area with good connections to the various parts of the Zillertal and surrounding cities. Fügen itself is rather small but has some warehouses, hotels and restaurants to provide anything one would really need on a holiday.

A beautiful, friendly village with plentiful amenities and stunning vistas. Well connected with only a 30 minute drive to the city of Innsbruck. Many fantastic climbs for those into rock climbing and bouldering all accessible within 45 minutes of the village. Local cafes and restaurants are authentic and well priced.

We were there to help out with our very young granddaughter, who was learning to ski, and not to ski ourselves, but we saw that the skiing facilities are excellent. For non-ski days, the ErlebnisTherme swimming complex was superb. We ate at a couple of places - Hotel Bruno, where family were staying, and the Kohlerhof - really good value and good quality. Getting around Fugen is easy. It's a big, sprawling place nowadays, and obviously, in half-term week, relatively crowded (although nowhere near as congested as Mayrhofen. Public transport is good, however, - free ski-buses, and very cheap rail travel on the Zillertalbahn.
Everything in this apartment portends a pleasant stay: Interior - everything is very good, of high quality. Location - 5-6 minutes by car from the bus to Hochfügen, the same from the nearest Spar shop.
Easy access to the main road and quick access to other places in the Zillertal Valley. Access to the apartment: excellent organized. Easy access to underground garage and ski killer. There is also an elevator. The only recommendation: the sliding door of one room is difficult to open and close - something is missing to work as expected
we stayed there only one night on the way to some other places. Everything was ok, clean and excelent breakfast. Fugen is a small village at the bottom of Innsbruck mountains. I would worth it to stay longer and be at this nice place, but we only passed trought.
Only little dissadvantage was that they have no late checking (up to 10pm), but we were on time.
Owner and staff were all nice to me, being a senior, Asian American. Breakfast was buffet style with made to order eggs and bacon. Mountain view from balcony is big plus, it was clean and food was delicious. English is well spoken. It was a second stay at this hotel and will return again.
The best value for money I've had in my trip to Austria!
Peter, the host, was amazing. He welcomed us warmly, took care of everything, and personally made us a good coffee & tea.
The room was excellent. Comfy beds and a cute balcony with a fantastic mountainous view.
The spa facilities are wonderful! Much larger and encompassing than I expected- they have two areas one for adults and one for families. The hotel is quite large, and has great access to the ski bus. Reception is lovely, really friendly and kind.
Having 4 children makes finding hotels difficult, and this apartment fit us perfectly! The hosts had fantastic recommendations for our stay, and ensured that we were comfortable. My kids loved the “spaceship” shower. ☺️
The apartment was nice and well equipped. The location in Fügen was very nice with direct access to the Zillertal area and surrounding cities such as Innsbruck. The host was very nice and helpful.
Hotel is pricey, but it's worth it. We had really comfortable stay, everything was perfect - rooms are spacious and well maintained, SPA area and restaurant are very good, friendly staff.
spacious, perfect location in center of Fugen, easy access from the street, privat parking in fromt of the doors, grocery around the corner, Fugen waterpark 15 minutes walk. just great!
Hotel Bruno is such a great hotel. The owners and staff are super friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is great. We keep coming back, I can't wait for next year!
Very good hotel with very nice owners. We stay at this hotel 11 nights with a baby and we had wonderful time there. Very good breakfast and nice location at Fugan. highly recommended
