We have been going to Seefeld for over 20 years, and have stayed in perhaps 8 different hotels. We have looked at Klosterbrau many times, but it is by far the most expensive hotel in the region. It has always been My wifes dream to stay there, so this year we booked a 3 day stay, full board.
The hotel is extremely well run and you feel that the moment you walk in. The reception staff are very professional, really helpful. Our car and luggage were taken care of, we literally didn't have to do anything.
Our room was not ready so we went for a walk and a bite to eat, came back a few hours later.
We were given this huge key for the room, we went up to our floor (2) but stopped on the first floor because they have one of their special rooms open for guests to look at. This room was incredible! Bath in an open plan bedroom/living room, with its own infrared sauna and balcony. It was stunning, unfortunately our room was nothing like that. It was tiny, freezing cold, the window didn't open or close properly, there were cigarette burns on the bedside table and the carpets didn't look the cleanest. (please bare in mind this is €500 per night).
The bathroom was OK, the shower was good. Coffee machine was good, and excellent WiFi.
The hotel prides itself on the spa area, which to be honest is amazing, but it does not open the pool until 8am. This baffles me because so many people (My wife included) want to swim before breakfast and be on the slopes at 9am when they open. Back to the spa, it's amazing what they have done to create this spa area, notably the nude area. It is all molded into old cave like passageways with lots of relaxation rooms, romantic dining rooms and wine tasting area, the atmosphere is wonderful, with Gregorian chant music playing in the background, topped off with everyone in brown bathrobes to resemble the monks that once used these passageways. It truly is something to experience.

Seefeld is half an hours taxi ride from the airport.
Seefeld is half an hours taxi ride from the airport. Perfect for a quick weekend away skiing with plenty of accommodation just a few minutes walk away from the slopes or cable cars. or for a weekend walking holiday in the summer. The village itself is probably a little small for longer holidays but would make a great base, The train station, (just a few minutes walk from pretty much the whole village), affords easy access to Innsbruck, or just half an hour away in the other direction, Germany.

We came for cross-country skiing, and about half of the time the conditions were excellent, other days were somewhat rainy, with one day with heavy rain. But that's weather. The tracks were in excellent shape, payment very reasonable (only €45 for up to three weeks!). All in all we were happy with our vacation.

Seefeld is a beautiful area surrounded by mountains.
Seefeld is a beautiful area surrounded by mountains. We stayed in the summer and it was hot. There is no air conditioning anywhere so be prepared and bring a fan if staying during the summer. The local hiking is amazing and difficult. We enjoyed a walk up to the Wild Moos Alm where there is a restaurant that is surrounded by cows with bells around their necks. We also did a great hike through a gorge called the Kinderparadies Leutasschklamm.

It is the ideal location, the scenery is wonderful.
With this view in front of our eyes, we served a varied breakfast, which provided us with the necessary energy for hiking.
The apartment benefited from the same dream view, being fully equipped.
I can say that the access to the centre of Seefeld in Tirol is relatively easy, the hotel being located 45 minutes on foot (10 minutes by car) from the centre.
We thank the owners for the moments offered.
We left this location with the promise to return as soon as possible.
We had the best view of the mountains from our room. The lady at the front desk was amazingly welcoming and helpful. The steam room was my favorite amenity. Park I g was free. Walking distance to everything. Pool was small but we still had a lot of fun. It was on the quiet side of the little train station. Other hotels were right in the middle and might have been louder with less of a view. We really enjoyed our time.
Our stay at Kreutzhof was really great, the department is beautifully designed and furnished and the kitchen was very well equipped and the bedroom was really comfortable. Location of the hotel is very good, close to many restaurants and grocery stores and close by the ski area. The owners were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. Thoroughly recommended.
The hotel was comfortable, rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast and afternoon snacks were well presented and there was plenty of choice. They also had an honesty bar which was the first I had come across. The family who manage the hotel were all lovely and couldnt do enough to help particularly Adriano. Would most certainly stay there again.
I had a great experience staying at the hotel Haymon, the staff were amazing specially at the breakfast area. I had to check in late at night and the receptionist stayed late to ensure my check in to the room. The room was great comparing to the value.
I stayed only for one night but I am definitely coming back.
The penthouse was fantastic with great views. Lovely open lounge / kitchen with plenty of space. The chalet is part of the hotel next door (Mountains) which isn't obvious at first - you can use the facilities. Would I stay again, yes, but maybe in a higher chalet during the summer due to the road.
Exceptional stay in all respects: excellent facilities with marvelous views, top-notch service, attentive and welcoming staff. Amazing quality and variety of food for dinner, very good breakfast. The hotel set the benchmark of the highest quality of stay for us. Highly recommended.
Great location, in a quiet street but still in walking distance from the city center, the hotel owner is very nice and welcoming, the room is very clean and cozy with charming view of the city and mountains behind, we have an amazing stay there
The breakfast, the dinner, the bar, the staff (the guys at the bar and the restaurant) are excellent.
The location is really central, our friends from other hotels came to our hotel. The ski storage room is the best than I’ve seen before
Wonderful hotel and spa facilities, every room was a surprise and there were lots rooms. Delicious and extensive breakfast.
All staff were extremely helpful
Guided hiking was an unexpected and welcome offering.
There are gatherings on a daily basis at night by young people who cause inconvenience to the residents of the hotel. I spoke with the hotel management, unfortunately, they did not respect the tourists
Food was excellent. Location was great - right on the main square. Spa was good, but a bit small for the size of the hotel. The overall value was outstanding. Would definitely stay here again.
The staff was very kind! The breakfast had many options and loved the cheese variety!
It exceeded our expectations! Great value of money! I would definitely visit the hotel again!
The room is huge, well furnished, with plenty of space for storage and an amazing view on the Austrian mountain range behind Innsbruck. The pool and spa were very good too.
