A small hotel in a small historic town in the Toledo region of Spain. We were the only guests during our stay. The welcome was warm and arrival quick. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. The shower was hot. The 15th century castle a short walk away made the hotel the perfect location for a visit to it. A good value stay to visit the town.

We really liked our stay in Casa Rural la Botica, were upgraded to a mini suite on the top floor with all the facilities and views.
The owner was very pleasant informative and helpful.
The place is a very old building with a lot of history which has been beautifully renovated.
The main square is literally 2 minutes walk and plenty of restaurants.
I highly recommend Casa Rural la Botica.
This luxury, rural retreat sits within its own 600-hectare estate, in the heart of the open countryside of Castilla and Extremadura.

The view from this hotel are spectacular, specially from the restaurant and certain rooms overlooking the castle, town or the Sierra. Malfunctions in the room AC make our night stay a little warm/ uncomfortable. Restaurant dinner good quality, very attentive and not too pricey, same for the breakfast that was so good, quality food, fresh OJ, clean and organized. Free on-site parking safe/secure.

The position of the Parador is perfect for exploring the town. Views from the bedroom were spectacular. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast served on a balcony overlooking the countryside. Historical building with fabulous public rooms plus nooks to sit in and quietly read.
This is THE PLACE to be if staying at Oropesa in terms of location overlooking the town/ Sierra. The breakfast is buffet style and all inclusive, very well stock, plenty to choose from and very organized/clean. The dinner was excellent, very good food and some tables have a unique view of the Sierra/Valley. It's located uphill on the top, so going to see the town is walking distance downhill on the way, uphill on the way back.
The hotel forms part of the restored hill-top castle of Oropesa and is full of character and interest. It is easy to find from the motorway and has ample, secure car parking spaces in the courtyard. There is a wonderful pool and garden overlooked by the battlements and the restaurant was excellent. The special 'half-board' deal was very good value.

hotel opened in March 2022 after extensive and thought through renovation process. The base of the hotel is a 15th century palacio and it had been refurbished keeping the spirit of the old alive blending it with modern comfort.
We got a history tour about the property when we checked in. breakfast is delicious and rich.
Will stay here again
Great accommodation, with perfect but family friendly spirit. In the middle of town easy accessible in a minute, breakfast time could be adapted base on wishes. Parking in the courtyard of hotel. Splendid and sensitively reconstructed building, you feel yourself like in the museum.
Nice hotel. Clean. Good size room. Comfortable bed and pillows. 2 good size single beds in room. Wifi good. Bathroom good size. Excellent place in Oropesa. Castle worth a visit. Bar next to hotel . Parking outside hotel. Petrol station next door. Staff friendly. Great stay.
