So unique, quite timeless, lovely outdoor area. All furnishings and items pleasing to the eye, artistic designs. The proprietors so helpful when I arrived as I had very heavy luggage. My single room was tiny but lovely with everything necessary in it. The information relating to my room name- Claudia Percale was very interesting and relates to the history of Narbonne.

Beautiful, historical town. Good amount of bistros/restaurants but some can be quite pricey. We used the supermarkets on some days to keep costs down. The food hall is a MUST.
The architecture is stunning along with the canal, museums and historical sights.
Highly advise getting a car to explore the towns within 30 minute radius.

It's a small city, but with a lively centre by the riversides, Many restaurants, things to see and do. The market was nice and we had a great tapas-lunch there.
The tourist train wasn't really worth it though, and if you don't speak french, you get earphones ... and on our row three of four plugins didn't work. They still refused to pay back money. That was cheap of them.
It's also close to the beach, and for 1.20 Euro you took the local bus aprox half and hour to reach the sandy beaches. In Saint Pierre la mer we really really recommend "Restaurant PAPA.PACO". Excellent food!
It's also very "centric", so going to towns like Carcassonne etc doesn't take long time, and trip over the day is no problem.

narbonne is an incredible city very well organized, with a lot of green and free parking. The city is quite full of bars and restaurants with some great places to visit ..but the value of the city is the city itself a nice place where to spend 2/3 day in complete relaxation you can walk all around the city without any problem and any car.

The free shuttle bus is a big plus, running Monday through Saturday. The local buses charge a fixed rate of just €1.20.
Lots of restaurant and café options, plus a good choice of supermarkets. Do not miss the new museum of Roman history - Via Narbo. Extraordinary.

Narbonne is perhaps under-rated.
Narbonne is perhaps under-rated. It has great charm and history. The historic centre is compact and easy to stroll around.
For those like ourselves who are interested in the Roman history in and around Narbonne it's great: The Horreum underground granary is good. Via Narbo ( a little way out along the canal) is wonderful, although it has yet to get itself organised with a cafe,
Saturday evening along the canal and under he planes, with plenty of delightful relaxed cafes, was a great way to end our stay.
The location is just perfect. in the middle of the Massif de la Clap, you are in a natural reserve, minutes away from either Narbonne (for your restaurant and shopping) or Narbonne Plage and Gruissans (beaches).
The owner and his staff are friendly, the breakfast good and swimming pool is just great.
While they do B&B, this is mostly a vinyard, so you are surrounded with wine making equipment and can visit the cellars. Loved it.
Perfect location in Narbonne. Food at your doorstep (Les Halles de Narbonne 100 yards away). Spacious. Spotless. Well-equipped for a short or longer stay. Amazing (large!) deck/terasse with deck chairs and dining table and chairs. Excellent laundry en suite. Dishwasher. Great shower. Private, secure, quiet - and private parking too! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Easy communication with an attentive host.
The hotel is in a prime location in Narbonne and close to the central market. The manager sent detailed instructions where to park, directions to the hotel, and how to self check in. We were close to all the main attractions and could walk everywhere. Plenty of cafes and restaurants are near the hotel.
The hotel also has a communal kitchen and laundry facilities, although we didn't use them.
This is the best boutique hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Staff are kind, friendly and very professional. The hotel and room decor is stunning, with a lovely ambiance. The room is spacious, with a very comfortable bed, there’s a minibar, and the shower is great. Loved the outdoor space with plunge pool too. In a great location, a short stroll to shops, restaurants and the market.
Absolutely incredible apartment, I’ve been travelling around France for a few weeks and this is my most magical memory. Unbeatable location, amazing decoration / furnishings, beautiful bed, and wonderful hosts that made us feel so welcome. When I return to Narbonne I will aim to stay here once more, thanks so much Lise and fam!
I travelled a lot in my life, for work and measure. Stayed in many many hotels before but this one is without doubt in my top 5. Just the perfection in every aspect. Meet and great, breakfast, room, bathroom, the very charming lady-host, the intellegent and nice conversations.....A must go when you're in Narbonne
Nice little studio in the centre of Narbonne which contains all you need for a good stay. Situated in the old city centre it is close to the train station and all the emblematic places to visite in this beautiful town.
Stylish and historical hotel in the heart of Narbonne. Fantastically restored with more restoration going on in the rest of the convent. All to a very high standard …especially the carpentry.
What a GREAT hotel … especially if you need to stay by the train station. Everything about it was fantastic. Julie the proprietor is smart & very kind!
