First of all, I liked the good nature, positivity and responsiveness of the owner Philippe. The breakfasts he prepared from natural products were not only very tasty, but also charged with positivity for the whole day thanks to his company. Everything in the hotel is thought out to the smallest detail. An ideal place for solo travel.

A perfect location for visiting the main hospital in Lyon, a 10 minute walk although with lots of steps. Artisan boulangerie 5 minutes walk. Lidl 10 minutes walk for basic provisions. A couple of restaurants nearby.

It is a high rise, high density inner city accommodation area with all the problems you would expect. The people we met however were lovely and friendly and the market held every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday had some great produce.

I highly recommend the hotel.
I highly recommend the hotel. The hotel indicates there is an air conditioner but it does not work. The receptionist is told that the guy who operates air conditioners is not there and the air conditioner can not be turned on, but in the lobby and in the dining room the air conditioner works. You may not be paying for a room with an air conditioner and you get a room with no air conditioner. Unable to sleep hot and sweating, in short horror.

I suggest using Rhonexpress and Metro A if You arrive from the airport (stop Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie and Charpennes). Owner was helpful and provided detailed instructions on what to visit etc. Great value for money.KalvisLatvia

Then the bed seem not clean. We didn’t use any thing for cooking. But she raised we damaged the cooker. Very bad experience. Btw the appartement seems only 20 m2 not 40 m2
