Make sure you go on market day in summer and take a cool bag to make the most of the produce. Check out the yarn shop - a fantastic spot for knitters. Take time to wander round the town and have a look at the almshouses to see what social housing used to look like.

I’ve travelled to Chipping Norton for work over the years it’s a place I’ve always enjoyed travelling to, I took my partner for a rare night away. She agreed it’s a beautiful place even the new builds blend into the scenery and there are so many different places to go off and see

The hotel is well situated to go out and about in the Cotswolds and Chipping Norton itself is a nice place to have a wander around and get a coffee or something to eat. The twin room that myself and my daughter shared was spacious as was the bathroom and the beds were comfy. Plenty of towels were provided along with complimentary shampoo/shower gels and the shower was nice and powerful. The hotel has a small car park which came in handy. The lady that met us on arrival was very friendly.

A perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds. The accommodation was superb, boutique hotel standard with an amazing attention to detail and the added convenience of a fully fitted kitchen. There is also fantastic outside space, both attached to the accommodation and a short walk away, complete with comfy chairs, fire pit and barbecue and incredible views across the valley. Michael, the host, was both helpful and generous, providing a fabulous welcome basket of goodies.

The room had old Atmosphere But had recently been nicely remodeled. The fox is in the heart of the town of Chipping Norton. Plenty of sites to see and restaurants within walking distance. Lovely modern accommodation in the heart of Chipping Norton. Very impressed with the house clean, tidy and also the outdoor space was fantastic. It was quietly located at the back of the high street with secure parking which was perfect, so just a 2 minute walk to local shops and more importantly a good pub! The host was super helpful for an early check-in as well.

Friendly, efficient reception. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. A nice bar and restaurant at the hotel. The price of the room was excellent, perhaps due to it being a last minute, same day booking, but nevertheless great value for money.
