A beautifully designed and very well equipped apartment. Lots of lovely touches that make staying there a joy.
Breakfast provided by Panos was big enough for our lunch also.

Location & view can’t be beat! As sweet Mrs Linardos describes it, it’s ‘traditional’ Asos style apartment which made it perfect. Cozy but good for a couple. Apartment has individual water tank in bathroom, turn on in morning for 20 minutes and good for the day. Have breakfast, happy hour & evening on the balcony with the most beautiful view! As mentioned parking is in public lot at bottom of hill but you can stop in front to unload and load luggage. If you want a good walk go to the castle at top of hill (pedestrian only) the views are spectacular. Very friendly family here at Linardos, we’d stay again without hesitation.
Featuring luxurious rooms with a balcony overlooking the Ionian Sea, Apartments Roi is set in a neoclassical building over the Myrtos gulf, and 5 minutes walking from Assos Beach.

Loved this place -
I was hoping it would be as it appeared on the app, but not in my wildest dreams would I have imagined it would be as nice as it was.
Room was clean, fairly spacious with a sitting area, well lit; bathroom was very nice, large standup shower (BTW - water pressure in Greece is exceptional !!); balcony with a stunning view, parking right beside the building. Very quiet and relaxing.
Light continental breakfast every morning was perfect, and a great way to start after a quick walk up to the castle, then the day to do whatever the island offered, which was a lot. Just up the hill from the village, its proximity to the town is ideal.
Hector and his partner kept our room super clean, good supply of bottled water and the wine in the fridge was a nice surprise, and was actually very good.
The property itself is stunning; pomegranate trees, flowers, immaculately clean pool, breakfast area, lounge chairs, sitting area - all very nice.
All correspondence between the property manager (Maria) was great — quick responses to all questions and queries.
Fiscardo Bay Hotel is located a short walk from the scenic Fiscardo waterfront with its taverns and shops. It offers a freshwater swimming pool, bar and wooden sun deck with loungers.

The hotel was very nice with a good balcony with open view
Truly lovely, a highlight of our trip to Kefalonia.
Truly lovely, a highlight of our trip to Kefalonia. We were lucky enough to visit Asos for the night with glorious weather in the middle of May 2024. Tucked away off the main road Asos is definitely worth visiting. The castle is a 30 minute walk up if you’re fit (not 1.6 kms like some reviews suggest, more like 2.5kms I’d say) the walk is worth it for the views on the way but the castle grounds aren’t very special (history on a board would be good). No mind the walk is worth it. Go to Asos to relax and enjoy the ambience and the pretty beach. 🇦🇺

Avoid Estiatorio Platanos, Restaurant Platanos.
Avoid Estiatorio Platanos, Restaurant Platanos.
Large American or Canadian man running this place with lots of blah blah. It's such a shame that his food isn't as good as his chat, and as large too.
Terrible portions, small plates, high prices for what you get and he doesn't care, as long as he gets your money
Read the reviews on other sites.
He doesn't like Greeks in his restaurant because they see his scams. AVOID.

STUNNING little town with a chilled and relaxing vibe.
STUNNING little town with a chilled and relaxing vibe. Without a doubt, the best town to stay on Kefalonia. Asos is in a great location, relative to all the beautiful beaches and small towns in the north of the island. Asos has 2 well stocked mini marts, a bakery and a couple of nice restaurants. We rented a boat for the day through Conteco Rent a Boat, and explored all the coves and beautiful beaches around the Asos area. That was day to remember!
The walk up to the Asos castle ruins is easy to navigate on a wide path and takes about 30 mins. Once up there, you are afforded the most amazing views back over the town and the towering cliffs.
You dont need a car when you are in Asos, but you definitely need a car if you are planning on exploring the island. The roads are very winding but everywhere you go the views are stunning!
We stayed a week, and will be coming back again.

Not only is Asos a stunning town - offering picture-perfect photos at every corner - but the people are wonderful and welcoming too. Can highly recommend the bakery! Good range of restaurants. Wonderful walks. Amazing scenery. Stunning swimming spots. Brilliant vistas! I would move there in a shot if I could!!!
We used Kefalonia Taxis for all our transfers - was so stress free not having to worry about transport. And we hired a boat for a day which was great for exploring to majestic beaches you can’t get to by road.

We had 4 nights there. Stunning and so chilled. Gets busy during day with coach tours but is understandable as is stunning. Lovely first thing and evening as quieter. Sea is beautiful. Suggest you buy beach shoes as stony beach. Stunning views from walk up to castle. It is a nice walk with good, wide path.

Asos is a stunningly pretty little village.
Asos is a stunningly pretty little village. We wanted tranquility and relaxation - and it certainly delivered that. There are beautiful views all around the village and a walk up to the castle is definitely worth doing. The beach is pebbly but the sea is calm and clear so was ideal for swimming.
The town is very quiet so may not suit everyone and a car is essential if you want to explore more of the island as there is no public transport from Asos. But we were content with what it had to offer and we ate incredibly well across four of the village's five food outlets with groceries from the two well-stocked mini marts.
What a magical part of the world! Our accommodation was perfect. Our host, balcony, breakfast, location and view were 10/10! We visited one week before the summer season started so not many local restaurants were open. Our host was kind enough to offer to cook an incredible 3 course meal and serve it to us on our balcony overlooking the ocean. Highly recommend. Perfect for a long weekend and having a car is a good idea to visit beaches and towns outside of Asos. Thankfully this property also has parking :)
I loved this hotel for our stay in Assos and would recommend it to all. Gorgeous terrace area for a lovely breakfast, beautiful pool and amazing sunset views from this area. All of the rooms also face this direction and have some balcony area which is really lovely. The inside was clean and spacious. We appreciated the nearby parking as well. This is a 5 minute walk to the town's center with several cute shops and restaurants to choose from. Also a close drive to Myrtos beach was perfect as well.
The apartment was immaculate. It has an amazing view of the town, castle and bay from the balcony and is a 2 minute walk to the restaurants. There is a small kitchenette with everything you need if you want to cook/have breakfast in the apartment, including a fridge to keep your wine cool!
Asos is a stunning, quiet town with a real community. I made friends with locals and other travellers, which is always good when you are travelling alone. I would highly recommend staying at Linardos!
The property is based on the peninsula. The views from the apartment are absolutely unreal. We loved just sitting looking out at the sea, the sun and the moon. The apartment is very centrally located and very handy to get to the beaches, car parks and the marina itself. The hosts are the nicest people ever and very very friendly. Just 3/4 restaurants to eat out in Asos - a nice bakery and a couple of small shops. We enjoyed being able to have breakfast & lunch on the balcony.
Lovely location just off the main harbour of beautiful Assos. If you’re looking for a quiet romantic spot the pool is perfect for watching the sunset behind the castle and enjoying a glass of Kefalonian wine!
Tasos is super helpful in offering hints and tips about Northern Kefalonia’s beaches, restaurants and beautiful hotspots.
Also, they have really good mountain bikes available to hire for free, which makes for an amazing cycle up to Assos Castle, to watch the sunset!
stunning views, exceptional service and good location for walking into the town of Asos, snorkeling in the bay, and exploring the Venetian castle just down the road. Also, the owners are both chefs so the included breakfast is delicious. we highly recommend the private dinner they offer for a romantic treat but bring your appetite. we ate until we were stuffed and still had leftovers for 3 more meals. Everything was still delicious cold. #foodyheaven.
The apartment on the hill with a view on the beautiful village Asos was really lovely, clean and just cosy. The owners were very sweet and gentle. They even brought the guests freshly baked pieces of cake. We felt really comfortable in this apartment. It was equipped with the basics - kettle, coffee mashine and fridge which was filled with a small breakfast provided by the owner. We can highly recommended the apartment with the perfect view :)
Asos is incredible and Villa Pelagos has literally the best location in the village. The views from the terrace are out of this world. The bay below the cliffs is like the biggest private swimming pool ever (and yes, there is a way down). We spent many hours just listening to the waves and cicadas.
The house is very well appointed and the owners are delightful and attentive. You’ll want for nothing.
We booked Vassilis Retreat as a last minute stay (we had been based for one week in Lixouri) as we wanted to sightsee around Asos. This boutique hotel is perfectly located, well organised and our room was truly amazing. The views of Asos, coupled with the size and layout of our room was 10/10/10/. It was a truly magical stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.
I could not recommend this accommodation any more. The stay for the price seemed really great. Comfortable rooms, amazing view, good facilities and the gentleman who checked us in was really delightful and a great laugh.
The location is also really good as you can walk everywhere with walking distance.
This really contribute to an awesome stay in Asos
The three villas are run by two brothers who will do their utmost to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. The view of the harbour is very nice, and the villas are equipped with anything you might need. Definitely worth it if you visit Kefalonia
Stunning hotel overlooking the Ionian sea. BEAUTIFUL sunsets, private balcony, wonderful hosts, lovely breakfasts. Only a 3min walk to the beach and restaurants. Really breathtaking hotel.
Linardos apartments the most stunning view overlooking Assos. it was truly the most magical place we’d been to in kefalonia. We will definitely look at returning
