Quiet and comfortable place. The owner was very nice and helpful. Shower place is very small which made us not happy with. Other than that, it’s a nice place.

Extremely nice 2 bedroom apartment. Easy to get to beaches and Poseidon’s Temple. Beautiful walk up to the gorge beside the house. Excellent information provided by the owner about local restaurants and hikes. Well equipped with high quality kitchen equipment. Even had a really nice fam which I loved. Would stay again for sure. Would be super for a family!

Wonderful location for visiting Poseidon's temple and enjoying the excellent fresh fish at the many seaside tavernas.
The beach we walked to (7-minute walk) was clean, calm and offered sunbeds, toilet and snack bar serving all types of beverages and snacks at very inexpensive prices.
It was not necessary to rent a sunbed if you did not wish to and on weekdays there was no charge for sunbeds and umbrellas. Very few people during the week made for very relaxing day.
During the weekend the Sunbeds and umbrella were 5-10 Eros.

This seemed far when we drove to it by car from Piraeus Port. But we were heading back to the airport and thankfully, the drive back to the airport was VERY easy. Try to hike to the Temple early as it gets very hot.

There were two restaurants within walking distance of the property. Both were excellent. Nearby Lavrion has dozens of restaurants and cafes and all the usual shops. The Temple of Poseidon is spectacular. The history of silver mining in the area was interesting. The enormous wealth mined in classical times funded the Greek defeat of the Persians.

Sunio is ideal for a short break if you don't want to use a car. The beach setting is lovely. If you are not staying at the hotel beach loungers & parasol can be hired for a small sum. The Temple of Poseidon is well worth a visit (10 miniute walk uphill) for the stunning coastal views.

Temple of Posiedon is worth a visit.
Temple of Posiedon is worth a visit. The villa we stayed at has great views across the bay with views of the Temple. Quality of restaurants in the local area is reasonable but not wow. The staff in the restaurants were all very warm, welcoming and friendly.
Sounio is pretty remote. Local supermarkets are a 20 minute drive away. We had originally hired 1 car mainly to go to supermarkets with a plan of getting taxis for dinner in the evenings. It was impossible to get a taxi or uber to pick up from our villa which meant we had to go to Athens to pick up a 2nd car for our party of 10.

I love it.
I love it. I want people who appreciate the wonders of nature in all varieties as well as the splendid swimming in the Aegean and relaxing on the beach. I hope it doesn't get overcrowded, because it's great. The choices of what and where to eat are quite limited; this affected me as I didn't have a car, but I managed fine. I love the staff. They are helpful, positive, and want visitors to be happy. Informative, too. The breakfast buffet is great!!
Everything was really good: the apartment is in a small but extremely well-designed building, in a convenient and secluded part of the area. With all the amenities that you could possibly want.
It is extremely conveniently siutated both for visiting the remarkable ancient Greek temple complex at Sounion and for the local beach (20 minute walk in either direction). It is also not far from Athens International Airport.
Demosthenes the owner could not have been more helpful.
A warm welcome at an amazing location where you can watch the sun set over the sea and the stars come out over Poseidon's Temple. We enjoyed the breakfast watching the boats in the bay and dinner was fantastic. As a guest at the hotel we were able to use the special area at the beach with comfortable beach beds and shade - we loved snorkling from the beach and saw lots of fish due to the clean water. We loved staying at Aegeon Beach Hotel and hope to return.
We decided to spend our last few days in Greece away from the bustle of Athens and booked Helen's to be close to the Temple of Poseidon. The property exceeded our expectations and was perfectly located close to a beach, the temple, and other beautiful sights along the coastline. The host greeted us upon arrival and was so friendly and welcoming. He responded immediately to any inquiries we had and ensured that we had a great stay!
Best property of all!
I used to travel quite often and I can say that this is the best villa I have rented through Booking !!!
Everything is top quality, and the managers, Vicki Christina and Nicholas, are incredibly helpful, and they give the best suggestions.
Only a 5 star hotel can compete with this Villa, but sure not with this kind of professional hospitality.
Well done of Bill and John team for such a great job!
Location is fantastic. On top of the sea. Which their own beach. From the front rooms you can see the Poseidon Temple.
Breakfast is delicious. And staff super friendly and they are always with a smile if you need something.
Next to the villa/ hotel is a small bay with La lovely restaurant. I recommend it. See the pictures from the room and the walking path to the private beach.

Thanos is a charming host. This is our second stay here. The view of the sea is wonderful and there is a nice beach close by. It’s far enough off the main road and very quiet. The units are fully equipped in terms of appliances, kitchen ware, dishes, towels, napkins. The homemade baked goods from his wife make you want to permanently move in.
You could not find a more perfect location when seeing Sounio. Not only could we have walked to the site but as we had dinner we could take in the view of the temple lit up and with the moon behind it. Truly lovely. The hotel backs up to a small bay with beach front and sailboats harbored. Was a perfect spot!
Very quiet location, fantastic spacious terrase with comfortable seating in the shade, very friendly and welcoming host. Our late arrival was not a problem and we were greeted very warmly and the apartment had everything we needed, even few nice welcome gifts. Perfect spot to explore Sounion, fully recommend.
It was very comfortable and ckean.and in a quiet location. The beds were very comfy and I slept very well. It's clise to a beach shops and Sounion temple . It has a fully equipped kitchen and i liked the welcome gift from the host. Highly recommended.
The compound is amazing, very well planned and designed. the facilities and service are great, food, activites and guest services are all wonderful. The beach is amazing, the kids activities are nice and all together we have a lovely week.
Wonderful sea view.A peaceful place at the end of a very beautiful beach. Close to cape Sounion. Perfect wifi, and a welcoming choice of coffee, chocolate and organic sweet oranges. Well equipped apartment. Helpful host.
The apartment was super cozy and inviting and the host very charming and helpful especially because this is a residential area and she helped me to get dinner. The location is near the water.
