We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and even made calls for us to reserve a place and find out details. We mentioned that one of the visitors is blind and recieved the accessible room. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.
The hotel was clean and well-kept, and the breakfast was both generous and delicious. The pool was fantastic! . Overall, a fantastic experience!

Ialyssos is a beach resort, very relaxed and easy-going, but there are regular buses into Rhodes town which is a fantastic bustling town, full of history and with a great port and marina, where you can book boat tours or just sit and watch. You can also walk up the hill behind the town, Filerimos, which has the remains of an old temple and a mediaeval monastery as well as a giant cross put up by the Italians - the views are amazing, but the walk is a slog on a hot day!

There are many shops and restaurants in Ialyssos with good beaches that had a beautiful panorama view of the sea. There are both super markets as well as souvenir shops and good bakeries in Ialyssos.
There is also an excellent Grigoris (Greek coffee chain) in Ialyssos, where you can enjoy a delicious greek coffee.

Friendly, small resort with plenty of good restaurants and places to get food and drink.
San Allote, Platon, Costas Village Taverna, Avlia, Chinese - all good.
Easy to walk around, plenty of shops for tourists and a range of supermarkets. Big ones on the main road into Rhodes Town.
Short distance to airport and Rhodes town.
Excursions available too.

In general a very pleasant town with extremely nice and helpful locals. Great restaurants (Bikini was our favorit), nice beaches and well located to travel to other places.
Only down side was public transportation. Use that only to go to Rhodes town and when you are not in a hurry. For travelling to different places during the day, rent a car (we used Superior)

Ialyssos is one of the three ancient locations in the island...
Ialyssos is one of the three ancient locations in the island of Rodos that were inhabited in the prehistoric time, some 3500 years ago. At some point it had 30 houses, which gave Ialyssos its ancient original name Trianda. Ialyssos has some of the best hotels in Rodos for families with children that are looking for the beach and swimming pool experience but still want to be within reach of the city and its historical surroundings.
There's enough shops and restaurants in Ialyssos to find what you need, but typically you would visit the Rodos city center at least once to see the famous medieval old town - the only surviving medieval city center in the world with original medieval buildings still in use - and find more services. It's quite easy to reach the Rodos city center via public transport. The city center is too far to walk to but you can ride a bicycle to the city in about 30 minutes.

Lalysos is a short distance from the airport and also a short distance from the city. It can be said that there is also most of what you need to stay there. However, you can clearly see the decline of local services. Shops and restaurants have been closed. Many houses are half finished.
Very friendly owners, light and airy room decor, good food - I recommend the moussaka and (huge) Greek salad. Easy walk to the main street in Ialyssos, and to the bus for Rhodes, or walk to Rhodes along the path under the cliffs if feeling energetic. I slept better here than I have in years - a combination of the fresh sea air and the comfy new bed. Outdoor pool table off to the side of the very attractive bar area, plus a sparkling swimming pool. I wish you every success, Penelope and Lazarus, you have all the right ingredients.
It is a nice hotel, a rather small one so it is calm and without crowds on the pool. The pool is not big but nice and for sure you find a sunbed for yourself.
Owners and the rest of the staff are more than helpful and are ready to make your stay as pleasant as it can be.
The hotel is located close to streets with restaurants, bars, shops, and car/scooter rentals, and within walking distance to a beach.
A bus stop where you catch a bus to Rhodes city and the airport is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
We could not have picked a better place for our 2 weeks vacation. Everything was better than we had expected. Staff members were as helpful and kind as any people could be, the hotel has a stunning outside area with a swimming pool that we could visit anytime, and all in all the whole place is really quiet and family friendly. Food is the BEST!
I recommend it for everyone! Hotel Lisa has more value than most 3 and 4 star hotels.
Great breakfast, especially the pancakes :) Friendly and helpul staff. Nice pool area where you can relax on lazy days and enjoy cocktails. Only 10 minutes walk from the bus station that takes you to Rhodes medieval center. 20 minutes walk from the beach, which might seem a little bit too far for some, but it is quite a nice walk, where you get to admire the beautiful house and gardens. So just another plus for us.
The reception area/ lobby and all outside areas were very clean and well maintained. The pool and lazy river / slide are great with a nice grassed area before the beach.
we found the location for a week to be fine. Not much immediately next to the hotel but a short walk to other beach bars. An easy 15 minute taxi to airport and to Rhodes old town which is a must visit.
Food was delicious especially at orientalista and Italian restaurants. They have also french patisserie serve tasty desserts.
many bars located in all the property.
the view from the hotel was fantastic.
Every night there was an entertainment show and a music night.
the staff was very helpful and nice
the service was more than we expected
absolutely we come again
Swimming pool!
Hotel owner and staff!
Have your own restaurant!
There is a museum (free admission) with the rarest beautiful stones and archaeological finds!
Good location! near a shop with cheap prices, also near the sea and a bus stop in the direction of the city of Rhodes or the Airport!
Spacious refrigerator!
Nice balcony!
Gracias!
Pool area & gardens spacious and well maintained. Rooms cleaned daily and bedding & towels changed every other day. Restaurant/bar area attractive and appeared very popular although we didn't eat on site. We chose Villas Duc as it's located in our favourite area of Ialysos with easy access to beach, restaurants and public transport to Rhodes Town
A great villa, very spacious and clean! Walking distance to the town and a very short drive to Rhodes Town. A great space for my whole family and very safe for my 1 year old niece. The hosts were great, very helpful, met us at the villa when we arrived to show us around and on hand to answer any questions while we were there.
Lovely family run property, booked an apartment so had a lovely seating area and a kitchen, balcony overlooking pool area on first floor, super nice friendly staff, lovely breakfast, great food, very reasonable and would highly recommend, nice quiet relaxing hotel , a short walk from beach and restaurants , superb sunsets
the pool and the greek restaurante in the hotel were very nice ! For the hrek restaurant you nees to make a reservation in the reseption but its included in the "all inclusive" . recomend it !
we did a masage in the spa . [extra pay] . was very good !
the view from the room was amazing!! best thing this resort have !
Superbly situated for the beach and shops are a 2.minute walk , Rhodes Town a 2 hour walk or a bus journey 15 minutes 3€ , the hotel I stayed in should have had a microwave and 2 stove hob , but mine didn't, nor sure if it was because of my upgrade from room with terrace to room with balcony
Nice apartment also with a washing machine available, useful for families with kids. There are some trees at the pebbly beach which was nice because of shadow during hot sunny days.
There is a bus stop 5 minutes from the apartment (line Airport-Rhodes) and a supermarket nearby (7 mins walk).
The hotel was totally amazing, wonderful view from the balcony of the sea, everything very nice and clean, excellent location, good breakfast and extremely friendly staff. They let us stay for a late check out for no extra fee. We were absolutely happy about everything.
This hotel met my expectation as the host was very clear on what to expect from the room I had booked. It was exceptionally clean and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed my stay very much after the chaos of Old Rhodes Town this was a lovely respite.
I had a very nice stay in this Hotel. Room was very good. Very good breakfast and it was very clean.
what I appreciate most is the kindness of the staff. Very good familiy run hotel.
Basic accommodation but great value and such lovely people looking after us. Short walk to some great restaurants or a bus stop outside the hotel to get to Rhodes town.
