Loved the view from our room in the tower, and the beds were so comfortable I haven’t slept that good in awhile. Also had a very clean workout room with a good amount of equipment.

The TV remote control had a problem. The staff corrected it immediately.
Due to sub-zero temperature, and our late arrival, parking spaces were full. Again the staff helped us to find a space to park.

Lots of options clustered in canal park so it's walkable, rich history and Baytown culture. Sun worshipers and leafers beware, the low elevation and Lakeshore means more overcast days and later peak colors than the surrounding areas. Plan accordingly.

I would not visit Duluth again.
I would not visit Duluth again. Although interesting sites available to see. I found Duluth to be congested with traffic. The streets dont make sense. Hard to get to the tourist stops. The city just didn't make any sense how u get into Duluth at the start.

Duluth is a wonderful place to visit.
Duluth is a wonderful place to visit. They have things to do for families, friends, short or long visits. Must visit Canal Park, Lift Bridge, Enger Tower, Miller Mall and Rose Garden. Lots of restaurants, Fitzer, Grandma's and Perkins too. Talking walks along the shore, skipping rocks or just enjoying the fresh air will help you sleep better. The kids will love the water, trains and a visit to Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls.

We enjoyed Canal Park , Glensheen, and eating at Clyde's Iron Works and Grandma's. We drove along the North Shore to Gooseberry Falls and ate at Betty's Pies. Would recommend all of these, but not when the Canadian fire smoke is so dense you can hardly see the lake! Getting around was easy but don't follow Mapquest directions!
Breakfast at the hotel saves a lot of time and gets you onto your tasks quickly without having to go to a restaurant. I'm usually not a big breakfast person, but the breakfast exceeded my expectations. I was expecting boiled eggs and a packet of instant oatmeal. They had more then enough - scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits/gravy, juice, cereal/milk, pancakes, ...... and more. If you are in a real hurry you can just grab and apple and/or a yogurt. Wonderful way to start the morning someone cooking for you!!
The hotel is a renovated old warehouse. This turn on the century all concrete structure is really cool and very quiet. I'm sure the uniqueness of the building made room design a challenge. Our suite had a kitchen, couch and bedroom. The TV in the living are was on the wall 90 degrees from the couch, ad the couch was 1 foot from that wall. The same in the bedroom. Good thing we had things planned in Duluth and didn't watch TV. We had it on for morning news, that was about it. The breakfast is incredible.
The hotel was reminiscent of Hot Tub Time Machine, its an old 1980's ski lodge completely renewed. It is in very good shape, the poolhouse is huge and freshly painted and varnished with that old college feel. The rooms are pristine and roomy, and its straight off the highway (Rt35) so very convenient. Up on a hill overlooking Duluth so pleasant. The breakfast is hard boiled eggs, waffle maker and assorted breads and yogurt, so decent.
Everything it was great location the staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The cleanliness of the hotel was awesome! The hotel room itself was a 10 out of 10 comfortable bed, Spacious, clean, quiet, and enjoyable. Also in the morning they had full continental breakfast that was very fulfilling. Staff served hot breakfast food, not just cereal and milk. I would recommend this place 100% to enjoy your stay in Duluth.
We were traveling through The area and bought tickets to see Next to Normal at the Duluth. Playhouse, so finding lodging across the street was terrific. We were able to get good food at Pizza Luche after the performance within 2 blocks of the Oliver. Our room was just off the street and it was very quiet. It was $15 for 24 hours of parking in the nearby lot.
Everything was comfortable efficient and pleasant
The room had more amenities than we expected, including a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine. Even though the hotel was full, it was quiet. The location is great. My wife was shuttling me each day to the Superior Hiking Trail because of the lack of camping in the Duluth section of the trail, and this worked out so well. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We booked the place for the price and with that you have to be ready to accept the fate that it will be less then perfect.
The day counter "supervisor" was great
The night guy was a bit off but wasn't an issue
The hotel had aVery clean pool area , and when something came up the staff was very understanding of situations and was relatable
Will book again!
The facilities are excellent. The staff is the nicest bunch of folks I ever met at a hotel. They will give you a ride, then come scoop you back up. And the restaurant… you will forget you’re even in a hotel. The place is the best stay that Duluth has to offer.
Loved the convenient location to Canal Park. It was a very clean, quiet & cutely decorated room… especially loved the cool soap “dish” (Lake Superior rock!). Friendly & helpful staff! The view is amazing & it’s a must stay if you’re in Duluth!
Cleanliness, decor, overall large place. Matt was very helpful & friendly. Liked that there are 2 pools and access to places (coffee place) via the Skywalk. Included garage parking was great! Good location to get to Canal Park.
The stay was friend and clean. The location was good to travel though Duluth. It was a good motel and will use it next time I go to Duluth. Plus the free breakfast was great.
Location was amazing and walking distance to Canal Park shops, restaurants and Bentleyville. Hoops on the ground floor at our hotel was a great way to end the day.
