Super 8 by Wyndham Lake Havasu City, hotel in Lake Havasu City

This hotel in Lake Havasu City includes an outdoor pool with hot tub and guest rooms with free WiFi. English Village is within 10 minutes' walk from the hotel.

I got a clean room and I was close to the event on a last minute trip with no other options if places to stay so it worked out great although I was questioning my decision to stay at a super 8, it worked out well.

Fun party atmosphere but can be for families as well.

Fun party atmosphere but can be for families as well. The history of the city and London Bridge are nice to learn about. Weather is great in the spring but gets hot in the summer. Everyone is nice and accommodating.

    Great atmosphere.

Great atmosphere. The Pontoon boat rental made is great and the things we could see from the boat out by the coves was great We ate at the fish and chips place right under the bridge and it was good.

Nothing about Lake Havasu was good.

Nothing about Lake Havasu was good. I did not "choose" to visit Lake Havasu. I had a long desert drive and it seemed like a slightly better option than running out of gas in the middle of the desert late at night, so I stopped. I tried to get a bite to eat at a burger place with "good reviews". I didn't expect fine china but I thought maybe, you know... a plate. Nope. Lousy beer menu. I chose water but then stopped drinking it after a single sip and my inability to discern what exactly it tasted like while also wondering why my water had any taste at all. They "served" me a mediocre burger and worse fries wrapped in paper with some funky homemade ketchup that tasted like tomato paste with sugar on top. Then 13 (yes, I counted) super friendly Midwestern tourists decided they liked my dog so they jumped over the 4-foot fence, taking care not to spill their Miller Lite, to come join me at my covered outside seating and then chatted me up about all things casserole, tattoos, and boat racing over the smell of their cigarettes and the soothing sounds of their crying children. My mind escaped to thoughts of, "I hope these people don't actually vote" and I hope these people don't visit other countries and cause said countries to think this is a reference standard of what America produces". Alas, I fear I am wrong on both accounts. This was just one experience and possibly does not reflect the entirety of Lake Havasu. But, from the visual cues around me over the next 10 hours I was there, it seems fairly representative. If the U.S. nuclear arsenal needs another desert nuke test site, I might select Lake Havasu.

Lake Havasu is a great spot to travel especially if you have a boat or any water toys. You can also pay to ride the ferry, rent jets skis or a boat. They have plenty of beaches to have fun, The london bridge is very nice with plenty of places to grab some really good food. Its a small town so everything is close by. Plenty of things to see and do.

We only had one night but can easily stay a few more nights! We went in July so it was WAY too hot (115) being from Vegas we didn't want any more heat..lol so we'll be back in the fall. We love the paddle boards we rented and the shops and restaurants.

We just stayed one night and one day.

We just stayed one night and one day. Facing the genuine London bridge and understanding how it was rebuilt on land was amazing. We had dinner at La Vita Dolce (Italian) and their food was excellent, freshly home made. Renting a couple of jet skis in the morning to go around the island was a blast. Our lunch outside at The Chair next to the bridge was outstanding, its quality and fair price were unexpected for a touristy spot. This place is definitely worth the drive from Las Vegas or Phoenix for a weekend .

my husband and I were undecided if we should stay there or not after the horrible reviews this place has, but we gave it a try. it was great, of course this hotel isn’t a high quality hotel, we weren’t expecting something like that, but it is not that bad. it was a duck boat derbi and it for sure was the place to be at. It was a popping spot, the staff member were great, really friendly and the people we met at the restaurant were even more friendly.

Breakfast was good. The view was spectacular! The lobby is very inviting and the beer & wine bar is a pleasant surprise. Really appreciated the constant supply of coffee and hot water all day and night being that the weather was chilly. The hotel is in a great location for walking to all the sights and restaurants in and around London Bridge.

Everything was ok or more than ok. The only issue a little bit disturbing was the fact that the hotel is under renovation. When this is done and everything cleaned as well outside than it will be perfect. we really recommend this hotel. the staff is very politely and is supporting when ever needed. Full recommendation to stay there.

We were meeting friends who had a VRBO and the hotel’s location was ideal. The breakfast was excellent, the property was was lovely and well maintained. The staff was attentive and friendly. I appreciated there was no evidence of bedbugs when so many other properties in the area seemed to have that problem.

Location was good, We left early before breakfast. If you had two firmer pillows and two mushy pillows on the beds I think everyone would be happier. Lots of people bring their own pillows because all mushy pillows are hard to sleep with. Even for a new hotel price was high for the area.

Hotel is centrally located. Our stay was amazing. The staff was awesome. We loved the pool, decent breakfast. They’re pet friendly, which is great and the pet fee isn’t bad in price. We will definitely come back. Thank you for making our stay and my birthday vacation relaxing.
