The property was a short distance from Kilkenny City. It was such a lovely and cozy property. The beds were so comfy it was absolutely spotless. Lyons teabags there on our arrival was a lovely touch.

The host was great. The property was beautiful. The stay included many perks which we were not aware of when we booked. This farm is a must stay if in the area.

Quirky house that was clearly loved. Very clean. Mary the host was lovely and so helpful. Very generously left us chocolates, wine and a lovely cake. There were tea bags and a bag of coffee beans! Mary clearly tries to make people’s stays very comfortable. There’s a great big garden and gazebo area, just made for parties. There are 3 properties beside each other. The folly, another large house suitable for a large party and the host’s own house. Mary was really lovely and we didn’t feel that it mattered that she lived so close by. It’s a bit out of town on a small country road. We walked to the Hoban hotel, about 10 minutes. Would be very happy to return there again.

Everything! Lillie and Dorothy are so friendly and their dogs.... adorable. Literally anything you would need at the chalet was there waiting when we arrived. Including a lovely view of the garden and trees beyond. We've travelled to a lot of hotels, b&bs and holiday chalets, etc. This trumped them all. I wish we could give them a higher score because Lillie really went the extra mile.

The property is gorgeous and the host was incredibly accommodating. Definitely recommend for a family or a group wanting to get away for an extended weekend! Thanks for the hospitality Mike!

We really enjoyed our stay and are hoping to come back in the summer. The house is spacious, beautifully restored and spotlessly clean. It's cosy and comfortable, in a peaceful location but just a 10-minute drive from Kilkenny city. Fergus is friendly and welcoming.

The kitchen was well-stocked, the location was good, and the house was very clean and comfortable. For the most part, the beds were quite comfortable.

I liked this place very much. 20 minutes walking from the center of Kilkenny, far enough from the noise of the city, in a real peaceful area and that was exactly what I was looking for: a relaxing holiday. Walking to the center and step by step reaching it, was an exiting sensation: medieval buildings, cathedrals, the castel… all fabulous! The house was fully equipped, warm and clean. I only tried the big bed and that was very comfortable. In the two big supermarkets, at 10 minutes walking, I found all I needed to eat. Moreover in Kilkenny there are a lot of shops for everything, restaurants, bars and pubs.
