The location was great, Very easy to reach from Venice by vaporetto in 30 min. The island itself was a lovely quiet agricultural oasis. The breakfast was amazing, delicious, ample, prepared with care, healthy, and beautifully presented. This was my second stay at the Agriturismo Basego, and I will for sure return. First of all, I can recommend 100% Ca del Paradiso. It has been a fantastical 4 days break in Venice and this is from far my best experience with a holiday house or flat booked on booking.com. It is a typical old townhouse, perfectly situated (5 minutes walk to Saint Mark's Square). It is very comfortable and has been renovated with lot of taste. The house is extremely well equipped and in term of cleanliness, it was just immaculate. It has 4 floors (big entrance hall on street level, first floor with kitchen, bathroom and living room, second floor with 3 bedrooms and bathroom, last floor with an other small living room under the roof, and finally an incredible terrace on the roof with a 360° view on the city). Our host, Matteo, is a very generous and adorable man. He is dedicated to his guests and will answer any questions you might have on the city. I was there with my 2 children (17 and 18 y.-old) and my husband, we really had a great time in this house. Thank you Matteo for having made from our stay in Venice an unforgettable memory!
