The cabin is so cute and comfy and WARM . I spent most of my time in there in a tank top even though it was snowing outside . I usually have trouble sleeping but I slept like a baby here for some reason . The host - I only met the wife - she was so cool and caring and called me randomly one day just to make sure I was ok after I told her I was having a bad day . It was really sweet

It was very nice, clean, great price. The owners left fruit, candy, water, etc. Very nice for someone coming into town.

I stayed on night in an "Aurora View" room prior to a three night stay in a comfy cabin. Comfortable common areas and the theatre room showing an old but interesting Aurora doco was good. Breakfast basic but suitable. The restaurant/bar a walk across the parking area was good. Great location not far from the airport and free shuttle. If the aurora was showing it would be a perfect location but alas cloudy and snowing when I visited.

Especially covered in a heavy blanket of snow. The lodge is about 30 minutes from the airport (considering weather/road conditions) and is well worth the drive if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Our only disappointment was that we couldn’t stay longer. We will definitely be going back!
