The surroundings of the farm and nature was really serene and it was comfortable to relax ourselves as it was away from the crowd and noise (much more peaceful than the cities). We enjoyed the view very much and even got to see the farm animals from afar, such as the cows marching at dawn and the rabbit stealing some lettuce; how cute!! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect (it was wet and dreary), we still enjoyed having a stroll around the farm and snapping photos at every opportunity. The apartment was large and cozy, with fragrance (and a cow theme which is cute) in every room, even the toilet! We even got the chance to bring a book home from the collection, but it was a pity that none caught our interest :( (I did like the 100 Wonders of the World, though…)

This is truly a home away from home, well laid-out and fully-equipped, in which to prepare and eat meals, read, watch TV or Netflix, or just relax, with very comfortable beds. It’s beautifully appointed and decorated. It’s so quiet, with so many birds to watch. There was a generous provision of breakfast makings and snacks. We appreciated that we could get from the car to the accommodation without getting wet when it rained. The hosts and their lovely dog were so friendly.

Julie walked us into centre of town the next morning and was telling us about it on the way.

Cathedral Cove is 3.3 km from the holiday home. Highly recommended! If you're staying at Hahei this place is a treat to stay at. We arrived in the middle of the night and during a heavy storm and checking-in was easy.

Everything was spotless and host provided good basics in the kitchen.
