Het Domaine du Château de Monrecour - Hôtel et Restaurant - Proche Sarlat ligt in het hart van de Dordogne-vallei in de regio Périgord Noir. The staff and the hotel are just excellent, the grounds and Chateau are amazing. Staff have attention to detail such as they'd put the Air Con on hours before we arrived at our room, with 36c temps, it was awesome to walk into a cool room. The staff were super-friendly & helpful, although it's location means you'd ideally need to drive anywhere (nearest village is not a safe walk on the main road), we've never felt the need to leave the place when using their amazing restaurant. We stayed mainly because of the restaurant, and it didn't disappoint us a 2nd time we've stayed here. We stayed at 8 hotels in 8 nights and this is probably the best, and ironically one of the cheapest - it's such good value. The pool was a perfect temperature too.

Château Fleur D'Aya in Artigues-près-Bordeaux biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de tuin, een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. We absolutely LOVED staying at Chteau Fleur D'Aya! We were immediately made to fee super welcome and in fact on our first night we chose to sit and eat our dinner (bought from a local supermarket) with Henri and loved listening to his stories about the amazing restoration he implemented at the Chateaux. The Chateaux is a fabulous mix of historical beauty and modern interior design - it has been renovated in a stunningly sensitive and clever way and we loved staying somewhere so different! The beds were super comfortable and the shower and bath etc were wonderful. We actually did not find the time to get a swim in as we at two Rugby World Cup matches to attend but it looked wonderful and the hosts were super relaxed about us using it at any time. We are hoping to make a return sometime in the future when we have more time to enjoy the Chateau and Bordeaux and it's surroundings.

Château Bonalgue - Pomerol bevindt zich in Libourne en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. An ideal location and the breakfast was always delicious!

Brindos, Lac & Château - Relais & Châteaux - Anglet Biarritz is gelegen in Anglet, op 18 minuten lopen van treinstation Biarritz La Négresse, en biedt accommodatie met een seizoensgebonden... Lovely resort on a private lake. Beautifully appointed.

Château Fage La Maison des Vignes - Groupe Teritoria ligt in Arveyres, op 25 km van Chaban Delmas-brug, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. A fantastic property not far from St Emilion. Beautifully restored, with stunning areas for relaxing. Most of all, Tiffany - who ensured our little dog Rolo, was welcomed just as well as we were, is a credit to the hospitality industry and provided the highest level of friendly service we have experienced throughout our tour of France. Pierre from the restaurant team was also a pleasure to meet, and makes a fantastic Irish Coffee :) Thank you to you both for making our experience exceptional!

Le Château Réal ligt in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne, en biedt accommodatie met een terras of een balkon, gratis WiFi en flatscreen-tv, en watersportfaciliteiten en massagediensten. Beautifull chateau with spirit. Lovely hosts, amazing atmosphere, delicious food and top notch wines. What else you desire in Bordeaux area? Highly recommended!

Château Haut-Clarise ligt in Belvès-de-Castillon, op 49 km van Chaban Delmas-brug, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. The on-site pool was refreshing and lovely. Breakfast was served on the terrace just above the pool with a fabulous view of the valley. The rooms were fantastic and exceptionally clean. We stayed in three of the rooms, I’m sure the fourth one was equally wonderful. We had arrived by bicycle with no car. Our hosts were wonderful in giving us a ride to a local restaurant.
