SLS at Baha Mar, hotel in Nassau

Offering two outdoor pools, numerous food and beverage options, SLS at Baha Mar also features free WiFi access is available throughout.

I loved mostly everything! It was such a lovely place to stay at. I’ll try to break it down… Outdoors: such an amazing resort! So many pools to choose from and each with a nice layout. The place is full of foliage, which added to the tropical vibe. You can see little lizards running around. A very nice place to walk around. The place was very clean, no trash lying around. The beach is beautiful. Water is stunning and sand is nice. You can buy (or bring your own) googles and snorkel in the water. There’s a variety of fish in shallow water, and the further you go out you may see other fish, turtles, and manta rays. There are lifeguards on duty and even one that stays on the water to watch people snorkeling. There’s a boardwalk that you can go on and see sea life from there too. The front of the resort is really nice too. They have some of their restaurants located here and their fountain show that goes on a few times at night. (Side note: I recommend booking a spot at the Baha Beach Pool Club because that pool and view is wonderful. It’s a private pool for those who booked a spot. It is at an extra cost, but what you pay to book the spot goes towards food and drinks, so it’s worth it at the end) Restaurants: before my vacation, I downloaded the Bahamar app to look at restaurants and make some reservations, given other reviews about this. I booked Marcus on the beach in advanced for our one really nice dinner, which was so good! Highly recommend. Their steak was amazing. We would make dinner reservations the day before and were able to get something. We had breakfast at Cleo every morning, which is conveniently located in the main hall of SLS. It was a delicious buffet. Also would recommend Fi’Lia for dinner and N25 for lunch. Interiors of resort: quite big layout of the resort. Definitely getting your steps in if you want to explore the whole place. We didn’t use the casino, but it looks nice. SLS, by far, had the best lobby.

Graycliff Hotel, hotel in Nassau

Escape the ordinary at Graycliff Hotel and Restaurant, Nassau's landmark mansion.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful! The restaurant is fantastic and the wine cellar is amazing. It is the perfect experience for a romantic, grown-up vacation (away from the busyness of families with kids at the resorts you'll find in Nassau). They have live music in the lounge every night and offer lots of experiences (cigar rolling, wine tasting, yoga) and the pool/garden area is one of a kind! Absolutely gorgepus , quiet and private! It was definitely pricey, but worth every dollar for the kind of experience one can create if traveling solo or with your significant other.

It has great baches (eg Cabbage Beach) and great tours and activities (eg day tour to Exuma Cays, Swimming Pigs, Snorkeling, SandBars). The restaurants are good enough, but don't expect to much. Street food is very good, though!

Nassau is a very busy place. We only got around by Taxi. We were only there a few days but enjoyed our time there. It is very different from the out lying Islands. Friends spent some time exploring the History and Museums, we just didn't get there. Possibly a Stay out side of Nassau would be more relaxing but the Bahamian Hospitality is evident where ever you go in the Bahamas.

A cruise ship terminal where everyone is smiling but constantly trying to rip you off. At day full of the worst type of cruise ship passengers. Staff bubbly bubbly but entirely insincere. Tacky, horrid, poor levels of service. Taxis have no meters and will not quote in advance. If you like casino hotel complexes - knock yourself out. You will be overcharge and under serviced. Visited both, both horrid experiences. Saving graces - Uko Sushi Bar - Greycliffe Restaurant - Day trip to Staniel Cay was stunning. Highly recommended. Other than those there is NO reason to visit Nassau unless sent by work.

Entering Nassau is like entering the local food chain.

Entering Nassau is like entering the local food chain. I don't really like the hustle of the fish fry but I do enjoy the food! I have always found Bahamians very friendly. It is a nice place to visit. Some things can seem a little run down but you have to remember that the hurricanes beat up buildings and make it hard to maintain them.

We were able to go into downtown Nassau and enjoyed spending time exploring. We did a little shopping and ate lunch at a charming restaurant called the Manila Grill. We did use a taxi to go downtown and back to Paradise Island. You must have the Conch fritters with in the Bahamas. Everyone was very polite and it was a wonderful experience.

Everyone is friendly and very helpful. The island is beautiful, and many attractions are within walking distance of each other. We enjoyed each restaurant at which we ate and the portions were very generous. There are both lively and more quiet areas so there is something for everyone.

Rooms, location, beach, facilities all amazing. Tito on reception helped me arrange a meal and location to propose to my girlfriend outside the hotel as per my request. I was struggling with my phone so he booked and arranged everything for me and even added me on whatsapp to keep me updated, he went above and beyond in every aspect and was the best staff service I had ever received. Also the hotels location is great, we went outside the resort frequently with the downtown and fishfry both very close and safe and friendly.

March 17,2023 -My best friend and I booked this property for a weekend stay in Nassau. After realizing what an uncomfortable environment it was, we made a request to cancel our reservations. Being the only two females on a trip why stay in a room with a number of strange men! It’s a no for us. 700+ went down the drain with NO refund! For a room we never stayed in ! After 5 days of calling the property managers to seek assistance with the refund, their attitude was very poor

Host picked us up at the airport because we were renting the car with them. The location was perfect for us as matched the description - private and peaceful. If you want Nassau resorts, it's not the place, but lovely beach just steps from the property and virtually empty when we were there. There is a beach bar just five minutes walk away so that was great but for anything else you'll need to drive.

This newly renovated hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to take care of our needs and make us comfortable. There was a delicious breakfast buffet included. The hotel is centrally located, has its own private beach and a nice pool area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Nassau.

staff was very friendly and supportive! we absolutely got what we paid for! The territory is very beautiful, good internet connection. we called from the airport and asked meet us. The lady from the hotel picked us up in a 7 mins. it was very comfortable and much cheaper, than taxi price at the airport. The hotel provides transfer whenever you want for fair price.

We stayed at the condo associated with Margaritaville, One Habour. The grounds itself was beautiful, clean, and the people were friendly. There is a license to chill for $45 a day per person If you do not opt in for all inclusive. I would recommend that since you can get unlimitrd sodas, water, beer, drinks, snacks and breakfast.

The location of the hotel is brilliant but like most big resorts it needs a lot of improvement. Mostly with the staff. Some are just plain rude and either shouldn’t be there or need retraining in the art of hospitality!
