The location was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the breakfast was tasty. The receptionists enjoyed their work (or at least they manage to seem to enjoy which is a skill by itself). It kind of delights the customer when you meet a happy receptionist!

Beautiful city, lovely Old Town. Interesting Art Nouveau district. Easy to walk everywhere. Lots of interesting architecture to see and parks to walk through with sculptures everywhere. Good restaurants offering excellent value. Riga offers a wide selection of museums, we enjoyed The Powder Tower/ Latvian War Museum, Museum of the Barricades of 1991 ( both free entry), the Art Nouveau Museum and the Riga Motor Museum (both good value).

Riga is an interesting and buzzy place full of bars and restaurants. Walking the streets and seeing the sights was very enjoyable, peppered with interesting historical sights and museums. The green of the parks and tranquility of the canal then allowed us a rest from exploring. A visit to the enormous market is a must. The cello player in front of the Blackheads House was delightful - we sat and listened in the sunshine.

We booked this hotel due to earlier stay there as that was 5 star cervice.
This time was next to a Disaster
1. Beside /next to the hotel is a big renavation work going on starting 7;30 AM (no information before)
2. We had booked 2 douple rooms and arrived with our friends with two cars. Only one parking premission was awailable, so we received penalty as our mobile did not find the local system.
3. Our arrival was 6:30 PM. We wanted to have a dinner, but received info that kitchen is closed !? (no information before) Found self service restaurant by the central square, thank you very much!
Reception and other personal passive, exception the man in the Bar.
After an evening and night like this, Riga did not taste as good as it did with our previous visit.
Dissapointed Leena & Seppo with our good friends
This hotel has a good location, somewhat outside the city center, but with several tram lines just outside.
The tram will take you to the old town in Riga in 10 minutes. The part of Riga, whrer the hotel is situated, Agenskalns,
is quite picturesque with old wooden architecture, some small restaurants and the local market not far away.
The hotel itself have nice rooms, good breakfast and other facilities. It gives a good value for the money.
I recommend it for travellers who want to see more of Riga than just the old, historic part.
The hotel messaged me through Booking.com a week in advance to say that they had overbooked and to ask if I would be OK with moving to one of its sister Accor hotels in Riga. It was no problem for me to do so: the distance was about the same from the bus station (where I was arriving from Tartu), and the new hotel was in an area that I wanted to explore more anyway. The Ibis made a booking for me at the Pullman Riga Old Town hotel (for the same price), and it was very, very nice. I cannot provide a review of my stay at the Ibis, however.
Excellent location, very close to the bus and train station, and also - literally a few steps to the old town. Breakfast was just delicious, great selection, lovely area, very bright. Staff very helpful and professional. Very smooth check-in and check out. There is also a direct connection to the Airport, by bus - and I paid just around €1 for a bus! Bus stop is actually nearly at the door step of the hotel. You can easily walk around and you will be able to reach most of the Riga tourist attractions within up to 20 minutes walking.
This hotel was amazing - I was hesitant to stay here at first because it's not directly in the old city center but it is actually the perfect location! It's right in between the old town and the new area with all the good restaurants for locals. The room was really huge and it was decorated beautifully. The bed and pillows were comfy and there were chairs and a nice big TV with a ton of channels. The breakfast was great as well. I stay at hundreds of hotels per year and I LOVED this hotel. The spa is super clean and nice.
This is a really well-run family hotel. It's slightly away from Riga's Old Town, but that is reachable with a 15-minute walk. It's also on the cusp of elegant Elizabetes Street, and there are restaurants and shops nearby. Breakfast has good choices, and they are accommodating. The room was pleasant and clean, with good bathroom facilities. Staff was very pleasant as well.
Well functioning spacious facilities exceeding our expectations, the bigger rooms were comfortable and breakfast quality was higher than in most hotels in the region. The lobby bar was well equipped and sauna was available but we didn't have time for it. Great location next to a huge park. Bolt taxi takes you to the old town in 10 mins at low cost.
Clean room, great beds. Hotel is well situated nearby the main railway, the bus station and the airport bus terminal. The staff were very friendly. We had to check out early to catch a morning flight from Riga airport, the staff ensured we had a picnic-box breakfast to take with us. Hotel is a short walk from the art-deco area and the Old Town.
Location was the best in terms of access to the Old Town and bus station (Autoosta), if you need to travel other cities or to the airport.
Breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had in abroad so far 😊
Staff was very friendly, too.
I'd say that here is probably the best place you can stay as a couple in Riga.
The hotel is in an excellent location, it's easy to reach all the highlights of Rīga's old town. I had my room upgraded to junior suite before my arrival and that was lovely, as I had a whole spacious room to myself. It was clean and the staff was very helpful.
Hestia Hotel Draugi was perfect for our short stay in Riga. The breakfast was really good and so was our room. Small but perfect for our needs. It's in the old town, thus within walking distance from every main attraction. We would definitely recommend it!
The reception staff was trying to be helpful and solve issues that were popping up, starting with the check-in. The hotel is in a central location in the heart of Riga’s old town, which brings an upside regarding the next by landmark accessibility.
The reception was friendly. They called a cab to the airport for an early morning flight. The hotel was close to the shopping center in the city. It was about a 15 min walk to old town Riga. The room we had was big and clean with a bathtub.
The hotel is in an excellent part of Riga old town, close to many bars, restaurants and sights, and also not a very long walk from the bus or railway station. Breakfasts are plentiful and varied. The price was keen for quite a nice hotel.
A great authentic hotel in the center of Riga, right in the old town. one step away from the centers gallery. We paid a little extra for the best room with a bathroom. It was great. An acceptable breakfast.
Location was perfect in Riga old town. Short walk to coach station. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. We booked junior suite and the jacuzzi in the bathroom was a nice addition.
Hotel is in perfect position for sightseeing Riga Centre and Old town. Cosy clean and quality hotel! Reception is very professional!!
I was amazed how beautiful Riga is. Greetings from Lithuania!!
