You can either walk or take the bus to the station in case you wish to visit other cities around Gent by train. Sabine, the hostess, is really welcoming, helpful and quick to respond. Wonderful stay Monet bevindt zich in de wijk Macharius-Heirnis in Gent, en heeft airconditioning, een balkon, en uitzicht op de stad. De host was heel aardig, wilde ons zelfs ophalen in de regen met een paraplu. De locatie was perfect, vlakbij het station en het centrum. Het appartement was ruim en van alles voorzien. De buurt was rustig.

I was travelling with a group of friends and if it was possible, we would have stayed there for a month because the apartment is very cosy and we felt like we were at home. The apartment is wonderfully furnished. We were very sorry that we couldn´t use the backyard with seating due to the winter weather.
