I 100% recommend staying at this beautiful hotel! The location was on a quiet street, just a short (300m) walk to restaurants etc. The hotel felt very safe and secure. We staying in the 'Gloria' Queen room and it had a lovely view over the garden and city. The room itself was well appointed, modern, comfortable and clean. The room size was perfect for a multiple night stay. I found the breakfast excellent, with a choice of cold options available (yoghurt, bread, pastries, fruit, cheese etc) . You could also ask for scrambled eggs. The host was lovely and so helpful, even with the language barrier. She allowed us to store our bags for a few hours, and also use the pool area after check-out as we had a late flight that evening.

Located in the historical and cultural heart of Rio de Janeiro, this 5-star boutique hotel offers a unique concept of tropical design and panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro’s bay. The location and the view of the city were amazing. A short walking distance you’ll find a few local restaurants and bars. The ambiance was great. The staffing was polite, helpful. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Near to the bars and the whole nightscene but still in a quiet area to get a good sleep. Rooms and common area like in the pictures. It was clean and provided with what you need for a stay. Alberto was very attentive to whatever you could need. Thank you!! 😃

Staff great and friendly ready to help and easy to contact. Akin was a great assistant and can speak multiple languages.

Everything. The decor, the room, the location. Cool bohemian cafes and bars for breakfast and night hang out in the area. Close to the Explorer restaurant. The restaurant of the hotel is also extremely popular. They let us check out way later than the official time. Nice gesture.

Rio de Janeiros historiske og kulturelle kvarter Lapa ligger lige uden for Hotel Americano. Samtlige værelser er udstyret med aircondition og kabel-tv. Der er gratis parkering. My room was large and my bathroom had been newly renovated and had a large jacuzzi. I also had a small entrance room that had a fridge and computer table. I was comfortable and overall enjoyed my stay. The location is relatively central although you do have to walk a bit to the metro.

Great vibes, great staff, I felt super welcome and made many friends, its a good place to socialize. The surrounding area is really nice and you are sleeping in a real awesome castle! They even let me relax at the pool for hours after I checked out!
