Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Maison Italia 1029 is situated in Santiago. A flat-screen TV with cable channels, as well as an iPod docking station are featured. Breakfast was taken an a very cool cafe on the ground floor - fantastic food (especially the pancakes!). We hade the top floor room which was enormous - fantastic views over the busy street scene but went quiet after midnight. Best area in the city. Top floor room was actually a restaurant pre covid so is a bit quirky with a full kitchen. Very nice wrap around terrace with seating ideal for evening people watching with a glass of wine. Bathroom was tiny but a small price to pay for such a cool 'apartment'. Housekeeping needs some work, we never did get any dressing gowns... Avenue Italia is full of quirkly and very cool bars and shops. Would fully recommend. Suggest travelers use the Uber servive.
