This family-run hotel lies in the centre of Kassel, a 2-minute walk from the main train station, and offers a tasty breakfast and comfortable accommodation. The location is great. Directly next to the train station, but still very quiet. The staff are very nice and friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is also good with some good variety.

The family-run Hotel am Rathaus is located in the heart of downtown Kassel, making it ideal for exploring all the attractions. Business travelers benefit from the tram stop right outside the door. The hotel is quite nice. The room small but cute, very comfortable, clean and with all the amenities you would expect in a hotel room. I think is perfect for a short stay. Location fairly close to tram stops, the train station and bakeries, supermarkets.

About 3 minute walk to the train station. It's definitely a clean and great location. The room was cozy and perfect for one person!

Reasonably priced and well located, parking on site for <5 euros. Walkable to downtown including Xmas market. Staff was helpful with recommendations including amazing Hercules monument, castle and art gallery. Visit to those is well worth the stop!
