Wehlheiden, Kassel – hotely

This family-run 3-star hotel enjoys a quiet location in the heart of Kassel, and benefits from excellent public transport links. A tram stop is just a short walk away. The staff are all warm and nice. The double room we booked is clean and lovely. The location is near to the Grimmwelt and the station of tram 1 which can directly go to the Wihelmschön park, it’s really convenient for tourists. The breakfast is cheap and rich, coffee is delicious.

This hotel in Kassel offers modern accommodation and Wi-Fi internet. It is located next to the Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe train station and a 15-minute walk from the Kurhessen-Therme spa. We especially liked opening our window to see over the train station to the Hercules fountain on the mountain in the distance. The room was small but well appointed. Very clean, great staff. Bed was comfortable . Great location, just roll your suitcases to the side of the railroad station and you are there. You get a free pass for all of the trams and buses which are located in front of the train station.

Situated in central Kassel, walking distance from the train station, Kassel is an apartment featuring a barbecue. Guests benefit from a terrace. There is a seating area and a kitchenette. We spent two nights at the apartment and found it very clean and comfortable. The furniture is in good condition, and the bed was neither too soft nor hard. The wifi is extremely fast and the owners have equipped the apartment with small, thoughtful touches like a portable keyboard and MagSafe charger. The kitchen is small but well-designed to utilize the available space. Parking is on the street, we arrived on a weekend to find many spots but learned that it is more difficult to find one during working hours. The owners offered help but we did not need to drive our car. We thought the location was convenient to walk to the park and Hercules statue.

The apartment is renovated, extremely clean, fully equipped, and offers everything you need for a carefree vacation. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely be happy to come back! Highly recommended!

The host family was very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. All rooms in the apartment were modern, light and well-equipped. The balcony was very nice - so if the weather had been better, we would have spent a lot of time there.
