Hotel Villa Colonial is located in the heart of Santo Domingo's historic centre, and offers an outdoor pool, tropical gardens and a charming patio. The air-conditioned rooms include cable TV. Staff was just you could wish for and as it this should be at 5* level. Colonial style, activity and service provided from the staff on some cases beyond expectations, thanks!

Set in a historic building in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone, once home to a former president, the adult-only Casa Sanchez is within 1 minute's walk of Conde street. This place may be the best comfort/location/price deal you can get in the zona colonial. The staff is super nice, and I really appreciated their flexibility with my late booking(s) and late check-out. They have a lovely patio upstairs where you can chill / read/ stay (the rooms are quite dark). The availability of Netflix on the TV is a plus. The breakfast, which is included, is lovely and I appreciated the hot drinks station available all day. It's a typical zona colonial building with a ton of charm, special mention to the flamingo pool float! ;-) The code to enter the hotel at anytime is practical, and so is the absence of physical key (again a code) to enter your own room! I love the books at disposal, too.

Beautiful heritage building dating from the 1500's! Full of history and character. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. The courtyard is a green oasis. Excellent location. The kids also loved it!
