Would gladly stay again! Staff - kind and informative. Spoke English and french. They also helped me practice french. Breakfast was reliable. Rooms were clean and big (for Paris standard). They met the Paris 4star rating (please be aware, Paris has a different 4star compared to north america and the rest of Paris also) Cool neighborhood. Accessible to everything by walking, metro close by, biking if you want. Overall very agreeable, clean and pleasant (Pink and Blue Gray is the colour palette and it's everywhere, quite lovely)

Comfy room, helpful and friendly staff, great lobby with snacks and coffee available for working or sitting around. The location is in a great neighborhood - spending the evening along the canal was such a nice experience, and the 11 metro provides a convenient transfer at chatelet for the whole city. Nearby farmers market on Sunday blew my mind, had some grapes I'd never even imagined before.

The staff were incredible! We arrived in the early morning after travelling 27 hours from Australia and the staff did everything possible to make the room ready and also offered us showers and coffee until it was ready.

The overall style and small details in the room (brass fittings) together with an excellent bed and bedding, and squeaky clean furntiture (tub!) in a new bath room made this a really enjoyable stay. Nice staff, very polite and forthcoming, helped with the suitcase and made sure I felt appreciated and welcome. The location is unsurpassed if you are travelling by plane or train in Northern France/Europe.

Located in Paris, the hotel Magenta 38 is 200 metres from Jacques Bonsergent Metro Station, which leads directly to Place de la Bastille. Excellent breakfast. Very enjoyable stay.Staff were very friendly.

The location of the hotel is so close to the metros and the railway station, the rooms were so clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and we enjoyed the 24-hour coffee machine in the lobby.
