It's on the main street of the Ile St. Louis, which means there are restaurants and shops just outside, and it's within walking distance of several metro lines and most central Paris locations. The island is very clean and safe, and it's relatively quiet.

Located 300 metres from Notre Dame Cathedral, Le Diamant En Isle offers accommodation in Paris. The unit is 1 km from Pompidou Centre. Location is first rate. We were surprised by the 42 steps up to the apartment but soon became accustomed to them!

The self-catering apartment Le 38, rue Saint-Louis en l'île is set in the centre of Paris, 550 metres from Notre Dame Cathedral. Location was perfect for great restaurants, quiet sleep, easy access to the metro and train.. Good coffee pot(s) and tea pot. Good kitchen even though we used that very little.. Refrigerator, microwave , toaster oven and cooktop all there. Roomy apartment was a much better experience than a hotel. Stairs to apartment were not a problem for us.
