Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel & SPA is situated inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site. Featuring a on-site restaurant and free WiFi, the hotel is located 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. Everything was really great. Starting from communication before arrival to time to check out. Staff was extremely supportive and helpful. Hotel really unique, confortable bed, bathroom with good water system. Hotel is located in extremely confortable place.

Located just a few steps from the Sassi di Matera UNESCO site, Il Belvedere boasts a furnished terrace with panoramic views of Matera. WiFi is free throughout the property. Lovely place, fantastic stay. Highly recommend!

Le Malve Cave Retreat Cave Retreat is located in Sasso Caveoso, the historic part of Matera. It boasts air-conditioned rooms with a town-view balcony and a buffet breakfast. The room we stayed in was beautiful and very clean. Location was perfect for walking around/exploring Matera. Gianvito is exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Thank you!

Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. Breakfast was a selection of different foods, served to the table. Everything was of excellent quality. Location of the hotel was perfect and able to access all areas easily.

Wow! An amazing town and an equally amazing stay at this five star hotel. The staff was great, breakfasts awesome (and man who waited on us was a class act like from a Downton Abbey scene) and room (including view) much bigger & better than expected. The location meant a lot of uphill walking, but that's part of its charm. We have already told a number of people about this wonderful place.

The staff goes out of their way to overlook all details. Enza, the owner, is present and involved with the guests. She even took care of arranging the right city tour for us. Eating at their terrace resraurant is a double treat. The food and wine are excellent, while enjoying the view of the city change from day to night.
