Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. This wonderful little hotel is staffed by wonderful people who are so welcoming and friendly. They staff made sure we were comfortable and that we had access to a lot of local information. Anne even booked us a local (delicious) restaurant and sent over complimentary Prosecco. The room was delightful and very clean. The breakfast was delicious also. A very special stay.

Located in Matera, 300 metres from Matera Cathedral, Quarry Resort features accommodation with a bar and private parking. Our entire experience was exceptional. The location was amazing. The hospitality throughout the hotel was outstanding including the frequent interactions with the owner of the hotel, the front desk and the restaurant. The breakfast could not have been better. The room and bathroom were very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. We have stayed at many hotels around the world and this one is at the top of our list. We will definitely be back.
