The setup, with the bathroom downstairs, is unusual but pleasantly surprised us. The room was big enough and decorated in a classical way that fits the style of the building. Breakfast was not special but sufficient. Location was perfect, a bit secluded but on walking distance to Trastevere.

We did everything by walking. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was very good. The room is practical and clean. However, make sure you bring an adapter for the charger. In the centre of Rome, Hotel Aventino is located on the quiet Aventine Hill, a 10-minute walk from Circo Massimo Metro. It features elegant rooms and free WiFi throughout. We loved everything about Hotel Aventino. It's a small place that has a friendly soul, is charmingly designed and run with great care and attention to detail. The high quality furniture is especially noteworthy. Our room was quiet and very clean. Sheets and towels felt high quality as well, nothing felt old or smelled of bad detergent. All amenities worked excellently. Staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The building is located in a quiet upscale residential area, with Metro and bus stops at Circus Maximus about a ten minute walk away, and Trastevere just across the Tiber, which was perfect for our needs. We'd book again in a heartbeat

The design hotel Abitart is situated in the heart of the Ostiense neighbourhood, close to Ostiense Railway and Metro Station, which provides quick access to all of Rome, including Fiumicino Airport. Dry nice and comfortable hotel, excellent location, staff is extremely friendly; we were a bit disappointed from the breakfast, but you may find a plethora of local restaurants and food shops nearby
