Set on Ortigia Island overlooking the Ionian Sea, Algilà Ortigia Charme is right on the seafront. It features elegant, air-conditioned rooms equipped with antique furnishings from the 1700s. Marcello at the front desk was very accommodating and gave us a very warm welcome. As a first impression it counted towards making us feel comfortable. He didn’t disappoint in greeting us goodbye neither! It was obvious he did things per “l’amore”

Grand Hotel Des Etrangers is located in the centre of Ortigia Island and boasts beautiful sea views. It features a restaurant specialising in national cuisine. Only one word “ EXCELLENT” I stay so many hotels in so many countries. I can say this is the best hotel I stayed. It’s expensive but worth every penny.

Attractively set in Siracusa, palazzo salomone features air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant and a garden. All rooms boast a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. The location of the hotel was fantastic .. the staff very accommodating and attentive... the room and hotel were beautiful. I wasn't expecting to love Siracusa as much as we did ... what a glorious city!

Nice spot on Ortigia because it’s a couple streets away from the main drag, which made it nice and quiet but everything is within a 5 minute walk. Fantastic. There’s a rocky area and elevated deck over the sea beside the hotel, great alternative to get some swimming and sunbathing in without having to trek to the beach. Note: if you’re using the valet, Do Not drive your car down the street of the hotel, park it at the corner before the street starts.
