The location was excellent. The town itself is also very quaint and calming. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Always willing to assist even though my Japanese is very poor. There was also a lot of advertising in the accommodation of what was going on locally which was really nice.

Located in the Asamushi Onsen district of Aomori, Kaisenkaku is 19 km from Sannai-Maruyama site and 2 km from Asamushi Aquarium. If you like Japanese food, onsen, quiet atmosphere, than stay here on meal inclusive rate. I did nothing but relaxing, since there is not much to do in this small village, outskirts of City of Aomori.

Offering a beautiful outdoor hot-spring bath overlooking its tranquil garden, Yanagi No Yu serves traditional kaiseki multi-course dinners. Clean rooms and bath which are exactly what one would expect from the advertisement.
