Very friendly welcoming us. Our room was very well equipped, amenities missing could be picked in lobby. Floor plan of the room is perfect. The bed was very comfy. Room heating worked quiet and well. Design of the room is very appealing. Breakfast is great price value rate, nothing really missing. The sauna with long opening hours is very clean and beautiful. The Vischio: Wonderful.

In a prime location in the Minami Ward district of Kyoto, Rinn Kyoto Station West is located 1.2 km from TKP Garden City Kyoto, 2.2 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and 2.6 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan... Clean and cozy. Loved the place!

Attractively located in the Minami Ward district of Kyoto, GLANZ KEI Kyoto Station is situated 1.1 km from TKP Garden City Kyoto, 2.1 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and 3 km from Tofuku-ji Temple. One gets the feeling that if this was not an apart-hotel, it would be an upscale Japanese condo. It’s very well located, a 10 minute (for us) walk from the Kyoto rail station, next to a four-story AEON mall which has a reasonable food court and a full range grocery store. Close to Kyoto’s excellent public bus system. Security is good (but see negative comment below), with deadbolt and high security key access. Apartments are sizeable, and there are only two apartments on each floor, separated by an elevator, so noise is not a problem. The Booking website shows the room layout accurately. Rooms are a good size, but note no storage, only hangers. Bed is comfortable, with duvets. Toilet is separate from the bathroom, a handy feature; note, however, that the toilet is in a very compact room – think Boeing 737MAX size, and mobility challenged people may have an issue. The bathroom itself allows freedom of movement. There’s a tub, with separate shower. Shower pressure and volume is excellent, and there’s good lighting in the washbasin area. The apartment has been very recently built or redone; very little evidence of wear. Staff are very friendly and congenial, with very good skill in English. Unit was spotlessly clean. Lighting in all the living areas was excellent, making for easy reading or board game playing in the evenings. Wifi was acceptable for our use, but not exceptionally fast, at 5 Mbps early on a Sunday morning. The TV in the kitchen/dining/living area was huge, and we enjoyed the ability to use our Netflix and Amazon Prime memberships, given that we couldn’t find any English language programs on the satellite channels. Air conditioning is provided by ductless units in the living and bedroom areas; they worked effectively and silently. The washing machine worked well; kudos to management for including detailed instructions in English, something many other places lack. Clothes drying is by rack. The hotel is conveniently located, has a number of very good restaurants within easy walking distance. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, modern, very comfortable and well equipped, light and airy. The common area has been very well thought out, with cooking and heating facilities, a good size refrigerator, as well as glasses, plates, etc even clingwrap for use. A comfortable sitting area and table and chairs too. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. The atmosphere and ambiance made for a very enjoyable and memorable stay.

Sunrise Suites is located in Kyoto, a 5-minute walk from Toji Station. Guests can explore Toji Temple, just a 4-minute walk from the property. Get the breakfast added to your stay. The tofu bento has eel and soup with a pull tab that heats the box up within seconds, really cool to experience. Electric stove top, all cookingware and utensils included, washer/dryer unit in the room, spacious room and bathroom, phone in room, and table and chairs in the room were all very convenient. Temple view from the windows. Outside smoking area is designed as a zen garden. Yukatas provided for daily use. The staff were so polite and hospitable, one gentleman even offered a bit of history and a poem about Japan written by an American author. Beds were very comfortable. Very authentic experience, minus the tetami mats.

22 PIECES offers rooms with free WiFi in Kyoto, in a prime location 1.8 km from Tofuku-ji Temple and 2.9 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple. This 3-star hotel offers luggage storage space. It was one of the best, the rooms are so big, we are able to gather together with familes and have dinner together with all the nicest appliances and kitchen tools provided. And they provide a dyson hairdryer and all the best kitchen utensils you can borrow including dyson airwrap. Its fenomenal. And lastly all the staffs can speak english and are all very kind. They helped a lot especially they accompany my brother to visit a doctor for his son and the staff helped and waited until everything is finished. Truly an amazing and heartwarming experience.

Attractively located in the centre of Kyoto, ikoi HOTEL features free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. They were so accommodating and helpful! The room was very clean and the bathroom was significantly larger than other hotels we stayed at in Japan. I highly recommend staying here.

Well located in Kyoto, CHISUN PREMIUM Kyoto Kujo provides air-conditioned rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space. The hotel is quite new, amenities are awesome. Space is enough for 3 ppl with 2 fully opened suitcases. The location is within adequate walking distance (~10 mins) from Kyoto station. Staff are super friendly and are the best English speakers I've encountered in the 7-day trip.

Ideally situated in the Minami Ward district of Kyoto, Hotel The M's Kyoto is situated 1 km from Kyoto Station, 1.7 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and 1.9 km from Tofuku-ji Temple. I like everything, location, the facilities, the staff they are so friendly and nice, especially the guy who was concerned about my cake and put it in the fridge coz we are arrived early. Kuddos for the staff!!
