Der tilbydes indkvartering med opholdsområde. - The couple managing the venue is incredibly friendly - The breakfast and dinner are copious and delicious, eating it with the other guests is a great experience - The location is incredible, close to the bus stop and central to the Ohara area which is famous for its temples - The room was comfortable and had everything you need - While it's a little far and costly from Kyoto center by bus, the price of the accommodation is extremely honest for the service - Last but not least, being surrounded by Japanese families enjoying a holiday break was a special experience!

Oyado Seryo ligger 3 minutters kørsel fra JR Ohara Busstation, og der tilbydes gratis transport til og fra hotellet. Breakfast was traditional Japanese, with seasonal variation. No two breakfasts were exactly the same. It was perfect for us, as we were looking for an authentic experience. The room was traditional, but with sufficient climate control and a decent wifi connection.

The property is a small but cozy standalone house with a number of traditional features, a large terrace and plenty of parking. It is an ideal location for the nearby temples as well as the national park and the popular temples at the top of Mount Hiei. The host is wonderful and responsive and speaks very good English. They met us on arrival and came to wish us safe trip on departure. Kyoto is relatively easily reachable, but I would recommend a car not only to get out to Kyoto, but also to get around -- there is tons to see in the area. However, you can equally stay in the village for a couple of days w/o the need of getting out anywhere given the local serenity of temples! The village has all the amenities and during the day time even lots of restaurants next to the temples.

Ohara no Sato Onsen er et minshuku, et privat hjem i japansk stil, der bl.a. byder på originale miso-baserede gryderetter. Overnatningsstedet har fremstillet misopasta og rødbønnepasta i over 100 år. At der var halvpension inklusiv At maden var god og rigelig At gå tur til templer og shrines Fint at blive hentet ved bussen, da det var mørkt

Ohara Sanso tilbyder en helt røgfri oplevelse med varme kilder, hot pot-middage og en unik café med fodbad med varmt kildevand. Beautiful ryokan in a lovely place.Ohara and the valley is peaceful and charming. The staff were very helpful and kind and the dinner and breakfast delicious. Fell in love with their dog ♥️Just an hour bus ride from central Kyoto. Go if you can! We hope to be back one day...
