Ryoso Chatani er staðsett í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Sanzen-in-hofinu og 7,3 km frá Ruriko-in-hofinu í Kyoto og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. - The couple managing the venue is incredibly friendly - The breakfast and dinner are copious and delicious, eating it with the other guests is a great experience - The location is incredible, close to the bus stop and central to the Ohara area which is famous for its temples - The room was comfortable and had everything you need - While it's a little far and costly from Kyoto center by bus, the price of the accommodation is extremely honest for the service - Last but not least, being surrounded by Japanese families enjoying a holiday break was a special experience!

Oyado Seryo er í 3 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá JR Ohara-rútustöðinni og ókeypis skutla báðar leiðir er í boði. Breakfast was traditional Japanese, with seasonal variation. No two breakfasts were exactly the same. It was perfect for us, as we were looking for an authentic experience. The room was traditional, but with sufficient climate control and a decent wifi connection.

Gististaðurinn er í Kyoto og aðeins 200 metra frá Sanzen-in-hofinu. The property is a small but cozy standalone house with a number of traditional features, a large terrace and plenty of parking. It is an ideal location for the nearby temples as well as the national park and the popular temples at the top of Mount Hiei. The host is wonderful and responsive and speaks very good English. They met us on arrival and came to wish us safe trip on departure. Kyoto is relatively easily reachable, but I would recommend a car not only to get out to Kyoto, but also to get around -- there is tons to see in the area. However, you can equally stay in the village for a couple of days w/o the need of getting out anywhere given the local serenity of temples! The village has all the amenities and during the day time even lots of restaurants next to the temples.

Ohara no Sato er minshuku eða einkaheimili í japönskum stíl sem státar af upprunalegu kínversku fondú með miso-mauki. Gististaðurinn hefur búið til miso-mauk, eða rauðbaunamauk, í yfir 100 ár. The place is beautiful and relaxing. The food has a great taste and is perfect for the cold weather. The onsen is perfect, very relaxing and clean.

Ohara Sanso er algjörlega reyklaust hótel með heita hveri og býður upp á kvöldverði með heitum pottum og einstakt kaffihús með jarðvarmabaði. Beautiful ryokan in a lovely place.Ohara and the valley is peaceful and charming. The staff were very helpful and kind and the dinner and breakfast delicious. Fell in love with their dog ♥️Just an hour bus ride from central Kyoto. Go if you can! We hope to be back one day...
